World Zoonoses Day is commemorated on July 6 of every year. The day is marked to raise awareness on the various risks of zoonotic diseases among people and also teaches the actions against it. The zoonotic disease can be spread from animals to humans and it is dangerous to the life of both. It is an epidemic disease which makes it more dangerous.
World Zoonosis Day commemorates the success of the creation of the first vaccine against the rabies virus, zoonotic disease, and it was administrated by Louis Pasteur to Joseph Meister after a rabid dog mauled him. It happened on July 6, 1885. It is observed every year on the same day as a remembrance and to thank the creator of the vaccine.

7th Indian Ocean Naval Symposium Concludes in France
The 7th edition of the Indian Ocean Naval Symposium (IONS) concluded in France. The biennial event was hosted by the French Navy at La Réunion. From India, Admiral Karambir Singh, Chief of the Naval Staff, Indian Navy, participated in the inaugural session of the event virtually. France is the current chair of the Symposium, which assumed the Chairmanship in June 2021 for a two-year tenure.
The Indian Ocean Naval Symposium (IONS) is a series of biennial meetings, held between the littoral states of the Indian Ocean region, to enhance maritime cooperation among Navies of the member states, by providing an open and inclusive forum for discussion of regionally relevant maritime issues such as maritime security cooperation, discuss regional maritime issues, and promote friendly relationships.
The first such symposium was held in 2008 with India as host.
The chairmanship and location of the Symposium rotates between the various member states.

World UFO Day is observed and celebrated on 2nd July every year to raise awareness about Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) and alien life forms. The day aims to discuss and educate people about UFOs, flying saucers, and sightings of bright blue light in the sky that make headlines across the world.
Some countries mark World UFO Day on 24th June; it was on this date that pilot Kenneth Arnold reported a UFO sighting for the first time in the United States (US). While others celebrate this special day on 2 July as it is the day when the Roswell UFO crash incident took place in 1947.
This day is widely celebrated by UFO enthusiasts who look for 'undisputed evidence' claiming UFOs are real, or to make a case for their existence.

National Doctors' Day
National Doctors' Day was established by the Government of India back in 1991 in honour of the birth and death anniversary of the physician and the second Chief Minister of West Bengal, Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy. Since then, July 1 in India is marked as National Doctor's Day to show gratitude to all doctors.

World Asteroid Day
Asteroid Day is an annual global event which is held on the anniversary of the Siberian Tunguska event, which is considered by some to be the most harmful known asteroid-related event on Earth in recent history. The United Nations proclaimed it be observed globally on June 30 every year in its resolution. Asteroid Day aims to raise awareness about asteroids and what can be done to protect the Earth, its families, communities, and future generations from a catastrophic event.
Asteroid Day was co-founded by Stephen Hawking, filmmaker Grigorij Richters, B612 Foundation President, Danica Remy, Apollo 9 astronaut Rusty Schweickart and Brian May, Queen guitarist and astrophysicist.
International Day of Parliamentarism
The International Day of Parliamentarism is celebrated every year on 30 June, the date in 1889 on which the IPU was founded. The Day was established in 2018 through a United Nations General Assembly Resolution.
Instituting an international day for parliaments is particularly important at this critical time for parliamentary democracy, when people are losing trust in political institutions and democracy itself is facing challenges from populist and nationalist movements. If democracy is to thrive, then parliaments, as the cornerstone of functioning democracies, need to be strong, transparent, accountable and representative.
The International Day of Parliamentarism is a time to review the progress that parliaments have made in achieving some key goals to be more representative and move with the times, including carrying out self-assessments, working to include more women and young MPs, and adapting to new technologies.
The United Nations General Assembly, in its resolution A/RES/72/278, recognized the role of parliaments in national plans and strategies and in ensuring greater transparency and accountability at national and global levels.
