First Lunar Station

Russia and the United States agreed to cooperate on a NASA-led project to build the first lunar space station, part of a long-term project to send humans to Mars.
The project envisages building a crew-tended spaceport in lunar orbit that would serve as a gateway to deep space and the lunar surface.

Mangalyaan Completes Three Years

Launched in September 2014, with an intent to probe the Red Planet, India's Mangalyaan spacecraft that was estimated to last for 6 months has now completed 3 years.
The spacecraft is expected to circle the planet for another five years as it has still got about 15 kg of fuel left.

Search Bar Feature in New Update

Google Assistant has received a small but useful update that allows users to search specific information or service through a search bar.
The new search bar in Google Assistant replaces the previous scrolling through (feature) a list in the app to try to find the right integration.

Australia to Establish Its Own Space Agency

Australia's Minister for Education and Training Simon Birmingham has made an official announcement saying that the country will establish its own national space agency.
The space industry is worth $318 billion annually globally and $3.1 billion in Australia alone.
The Australian government estimates that the creation of the agency could boost the industry's domestic value to $14 billion by 2019.

Intel Unveils 8th-Gen Processor

Intel announced the launch of the 8th generation of the "Intel Core" desktop processor family, beginning October 5.
The processor is built for gamers and content creators for heavy duty tasks.
The new processor family introduces the first-ever 6-core "Intel Core i5" desktop processor and 4-core "Intel Core i3" desktop processor.

Scientists have developed a new electrocatalyst that can directly convert carbon dioxide into multicarbon fuels and alcohols using record-low inputs of energy. The work is the latest in a round of studies tackling the challenge of a creating a clean chemical manufacturing system that can put carbon dioxide to good use.
