The British car designed to go 1,000mph (1,610km/h) will make its first public runs in Cornwall later.
Bloodhound SSC is conducting initial slow-speed trials and should get up to about 200mph (320km/h) on the runway at Newquay Airport.
Driven by RAF Wing Commander Andy Green, the car aims to break the world land speed record in 2019.
This will take place on a special track that has been prepared on a dried-out lakebed in Northern Cape, South Africa.

The UAE Space Agency has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Luxembourg, defining a framework for collaboration and the exchange of information and expertise in space science, research and technology.
The MoU promotes cooperation in various aspects of space exploration, including space science, research, technology, remote sensing and navigation. In addition to this, the MoU encourages collaboration in space policy, law, regulation, and personnel training for space activities.

California-based private spaceflight company SpaceX successfully launched 10 satellites into low-Earth orbit aboard its Falcon 9 rocket.
The rocket carried satellites for Iridium Communications, as part of the company's Iridium NEXT constellation.

TRAI's 4G Upload Speed Rankings (September)
As per data compiled by telecom regulator Trai's MySpeed app, Idea Cellular achieved the highest 4G upload speed in September.
Idea Cellular topped the chart in terms of average 4G upload speed for September at 6.307 mbps.
According to the data available on the TRAI site, Idea took the pole position in 4G upload speed, followed by Vodafone, Reliance Jio and Airtel. In terms of 4G download speed, Idea ranked third, after Jio and Vodafone.
Open Platform GPS Tracking Device
Domestic vehicle telematics technology startup Trak N Tell launched open platform GPS tracking device Trakpod.
With the `Live Vehicle Tracking` enabled in the device, users can see the movement of their vehicle in real-time via Trak N Tell app. Users can also set up a limit and get an instant alert on the app every time the car goes above that limit.
The device offers a web application programme interface (API) that is used by customers to integrate vehicular data into their enterprise resources planning (ERP).
