EMBIBE Signs MoU with Uttar Pradesh Govt. to Offer Free NEP-aligned AI-led Learning
The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education and Secondary Education Departments signed a non-financial MoU with EMBIBE to accelerate the achievement of Nipun Bharat goals for UP.
As per EMBIBE, it was chosen for its interactive content library and Artificial Intelligence-led personalisation for better classroom teaching, student learning as well as learning outcomes enhancement in Science, Math and Social Science across over 55,000 schools.
According to reports, this partnership with the Uttar Pradesh government takes Embibe's footprint to 104,464 schools across 25 states across India, covering 596,250 teachers and 17,097,362 students.
MIT-WPU and ICAI Join Hands to Enhance Accounting and Financial Education in the Country
MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU) and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate to enhance accounting and finance education in the country.
the MoU was formalized during the "R.I.D.E" conclave, a 5-day event centered around Research, Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship, which took place at the university's Kothrud Campus.
The MOU encourages cooperation and interaction between respective staff, including inter-institutional visits, faculty exchange, academic publications, research and educational collaboration, and Faculty Development Programmes (FDP) in the areas of common interest among many other things.

14 BHU Scholars Get Prime Minister's Research Fellowship
A total of 14 research scholars of Banaras Hindu University were selected for the Prime Minister's Research Fellowship.
The students who were selected for the current cycle of PMRF are Bandan Kumar, Aindabi Maitra, Kuhoo Madhav, R. B. Ananth, Raju Rai, and Sudipa Bhunia (Dept. of Geology), Deepika Sharma, Karmdeo Prajapati, Nikhil Srivastav, and Ritesh Tolani (Dept. of Chemistry), Ankita Gupta (Institute of Environment & Sustainable Development), Garima Kandwal (Dept. of Biochemistry), Prashasti Pandey (Dept. of Botany), and Syona Tiwari (Dept. of Bioinformatics).
As part of the scheme selected research scholars receive an attractive fellowship and a research contingency grant. The fellowship amount for the first two years is Rs. 70,000 per month, followed by Rs. 75,000 per month for the third year and Rs. 80,000 per month in fourth and fifth years.
This scheme, which is open to very few Central Universities, is aimed at fostering high quality research. Launched in the budget 2018-2019, this scheme seeks to attract the best talent into research.

Punjab, Telangana and Maharashtra are the top states from where students go overseas for higher education while Germany, Kyrgyzstan, Ireland, Singapore, Russia and France are among the new preferred destinations for Indian students, according to a report.
The 'Beyond Beds and Boundaries: Indian Student Mobility Report, 2023' launched at a Global Education Conclave, offers insights into the dynamics of Indian students pursuing higher education abroad, with a particular focus on the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia.
Traditionally, Indian students have preferred countries like the US, Canada, UK and Australia. However, recently other countries have also emerged as preferred destinations, including Germany, Kyrgyzstan, Ireland, Singapore, Russia, Philippines, France and New Zealand.
Top states in India in terms of students going abroad include Punjab (12.5 per cent), Andhra Pradesh/Telangana (12.5 per cent), Maharashtra (12.5 per cent), Gujarat (8 per cent), Delhi/NCR (8 per cent), Tamil Nadu (8 per cent), Karnataka (6 per cent) and 33 per cent from other states.
The report also projected that the spending by Indian students on overseas education is expected to skyrocket to an astounding USD 70 billion by 2025.
