Director, Saul�- Bliuvait�- shared the Golden Peacock Trophy, a certificate, and a cash prize of Rs. 40,00,000, with the producer, Giedre Burokaite.
Indian Chemical Council Honoured with 2024 OPCW-The Hague Award
The Indian Chemical Council (ICC) was awarded the prestigious 2024 OPCW-The Hague Award at the 29th Session of the Conference of the States Parties (CSP) of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) held in The Hague. This is the first time that the award has been conferred upon a chemical industry body, marking a milestone in India's commitment to chemical safety and compliance with the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC).
The award was presented by Ambassador Fernando Arias (OPCW Director-General) and Mayor Jan van Zanen (Municipality of The Hague).
The OPCW-The Hague Award is presented to individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the goals of the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC).

Ministry of Mines Wins Gold for Excellence in Display
The Ministry of Mines Pavilion was awarded the First Position (Gold) for excellence in display in India International Trade Fair (IITF), 2024 out of 49 Ministries, drawing over 80,000 visitors. Winners of the 2024 Tata Transformation Prize
Tata Sons and the New York Academy of Sciences announced the second cohort of Winners of the Tata Transformation Prize. The Prize recognises and supports visionary scientists in India who are developing breakthrough technologies that address India's most significant societal challenges in Food Security, Sustainability, and Healthcare. The goal of the prize is to drive impactful innovation and scale-up implementation of high-reward research. Three scientists were selected from 169 entries from 18 Indian states by an international jury of leading experts.
The winners are C. Anandharamakrishnan for fortified rice technology, Amartya Mukhopadhyay for sodium-ion batteries, and Raghavan Varadarajan for cost-effective RSV vaccine development.

Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar for 2022 and 2023
Union Minister of Culture and Tourism, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, conferred 82 young artists with Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puruskar for the Years 2022 and 2023 at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi. The ceremony was presided over by Dr. Sandhya Purecha, Chairman of Sangeet Natak Akademi, and Smt. Uma Nanduri, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Culture.
Sangeet Natak Akademi instituted the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar (UBKUP) in the name of Bharat Ratna Ustad Bismillah Khan for young performing art practitioners up to the age of 40 years in 2006. The Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar is given annually to outstanding young artists in the fields of music, dance, drama, folk & tribal arts and puppetry in a special ceremony held in Delhi and also outside Delhi. The Yuva Puraskar carries a purse money of Rs. 25,000, a plaque and an angavastram.
