Pradhan Launches Comic Book Developed by NCERT and UNESCO 'Let's Move Forward'

The Ministry of Education and UNESCO launched an innovative comic book aimed at enhancing health and well-being of school going children across the nation. The comic book, titled 'Let's move forward' was officially released by Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Education, and Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, in a special ceremony held at Kaushal Bhawan in New Delhi.
The event was graced by senior government officials, policy makers, institutions under the Ministry of Education, UN Agencies, and other partners.
The comic book has been designed to be an interactive and educational tool to compliment the implementation of the School Health and Wellness Programme under Ayushman Bharat.

J. P. Nadda Releases Outlook Group's Coffee Table Book 'Sikhs and Modi'

BJP President J P Nadda released the Outlook Group's Coffee Table Book 'Sikhs and Modi' (A Journey of Nine Years) at a function in New Delhi. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Nadda said that the teachings of Sikh Gurus contributed towards the unity of the society, patriotism, and dedication towards religion.
He added that all the Prime Ministers have delivered their speech from the ramparts of the Red Fort on Independence Day, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the first Prime Minister of the country, who organized the main event at the Red Fort, to celebrate the 400th birth anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Singh. He also highlighted that the Narendra Modi government granted Foreign Contribution Regulation Act registration to Sri Harmandir Sahib, and now Sikhs from across the world can make contributions to the temple. He said, Besides, the Modi government also gave massive relief to Gurudwaras by waiving GST on langar items.

Shivraj Singh and Anurag Thakur Release Book Based on Speeches of PM Modi

Union Information & Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan released a two-volume book 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas' in Bhopal.
The two volumes have been compiled by the Publications Division of the I&B Ministry from the speeches and addresses given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from June 2020 to May 2021 and June 2021 to May 2022.

A Book Titled "The Life, Vision and Songs of Kabir" by Vipul Rikhi

The book, "Drunk on Love: The Life, Vision and Songs of Kabir", published by HarperCollins India and written by writer-singer Vipul Rikhi, presents the 15th-century poet, as he is described, quoted, and loved in popular imagination. A new book aims to capture the life of mystic poet Kabir through popular legends, his vision and his poetry that has been quoted and translated extensively.
The book brings into one place stories from Kabir's life, his most famous songs, "as well as his fiercely iconoclastic and inspiring vision".

Dharmendra Pradhan releases 'Empowering India - Ideas for Action by Scientists and Engineers' Book

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has released a book - 'Empowering India - Ideas for Action by Scientists and Engineers' authored by Prof. T. Pradeep, a Padma Shri Awardee and Institute Professor, Department of Chemistry, IIT Madras, and Mr. Krishnan Narayanan, President, IITMAA and itihaasa Research and Digital.
IIT Madras faculty and an alumnus have authored the book exploring ideas about what the leading research and educational institutions should do for India@100 (100 years of Independence). The book has been published by the Indian Academy of Sciences and is part of IIT Madras Alumni Association's (IITMAA) thought leadership activities.
Over 100 scientists, including about 40 alumni of IIT Madras, have shared their inputs for the book. The proceeds from the book sales would be contributed towards the cause of science (through the Academy).
Speaking about 'Empowering India - Ideas for Action by Scientists and Engineers', Prof. T. Pradeep, Institute Professor, Department of Chemistry, IIT Madras, said, "We believe that the book will be of great value in building NEW India. It has 30 solid recommendations spread across 7 specific areas. If these are incorporated in our planning and policies, we are sure that India will be at its rightful place in 2047."
