Jagdeep Dhankar Releases Book 'On The Trail of Buddha: A Journey to the East '
On the Trail of Buddha: A Journey to the East by Deepankar Aron, explores the ancient Indian connection to the Oriental, discovering the unity in diversity of cultures connected by the two thousand miles of the Silk Road and separated by two thousand years of history.
The book is a unique spiritual sojourn into China, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, and Mongolia in search of the spiritual, philosophical, and cultural linkages that bind India to the East Asian civilisations.
From the wandering monks of Asia to the temples and monasteries they visited; from the statues and frescoes in grottoes to those in the museums; from the diverse ethnicities of the people to their common gods and goddesses—the book explores the 'ancient India', beautifully preserved in the traditions, art, and architecture of China, as also in Mongolia, Korea, and Japan.

Tharoor's Book on Nationalism to be Out Soon
Congress leader Shashi Tharoor said that his "magnum opus" book on the theory, evolution and practice of nationalism will be out next month.
The book titled ''The Battle of Belonging'' is among his most "solidly researched" and "passionately-argued" works.
In many ways, the book seems like an extension of his 2018 book, 'Why I Am a Hindu' where he explored the history of Hinduism as well as the way religion impacted the socio-cultural contours of the country. In his latest outing, he has replaced the question of religion with identity which today have come to resemble each other.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the autobiography of Dr. Balasaheb Vikhe Patil via video conferencing. PM Modi also renamed the Pravara Rural Education Society as 'Loknete Dr. Balasaheb Vikhe Patil Pravara Rural Education Society'.
Dr. Patil served as Member of Lok Sabha for multiple terms. His autobiography is titled 'Deh Vechwa Karani' which means 'dedicating one's life for a noble cause'.

Rajnath Singh Launches Book 'A bouquet of Flowers'
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh launched a book written by Dr. Krishna Saksena- the first lady to get PhD, way back in 1955 from Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh.
"A bouquet of flowers", the ninth book authored by the senior English Professor, was launched at the New Delhi residence of Singh.
Through this book, Dr. Saksena presents a series of anecdotes that allow the reader to extract the moral of the stories, rather than a didactic imposition of her views. Rather than push the reader down a path she allows the reader to guide themselves as they contemplate the essence of each of the anecdotes she has selected for them.
The book has been designed to allow the readers to travel their own journey and arrive at their own very personal realisation and be inspired by it. I hope the readers enjoy the book and relate with it.
