Shashi Tharoor's latest book 'The Battle of Belonging' was formally launched at the Prabha Khaitan Foundation's signature event Kitab by Chief Guest Hamid Ansari, former Vice-President of India, Farooque Abdullah, Chairman J&K National Conference, David Davidar, novelist and publisher, Pavan K Varma, former Rajya Sabha MP and diplomat, Makarand Paranjape, Director IIAS.

All the guests lauded Shashi Tharoor's latest book and its potential to trigger serious debate on many issues pertaining to India but did not shy away from contesting some of the core concepts like nationalism, patriotism, civic nationalism, the idea of India and others elaborated in the book.

PM Modi Releases Book on Life of Guru Nanak Dev
Prime Minister Narendra Modi released a book on the life and ideals of Guru Nanak Dev, the founder of Sikhism and first of its 10 gurus.
The book has been penned by Kirpal Singh, who is based in Chandigarh.
Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi was also present during the book release.

IAS officer's Book 'The Awasthis of Aamnagri'
IAS officer and author Shubha Sarma's second book 'The Awasthis of Aamnagri' was released in Bhubaneswar.
The book was launched in a virtual ceremony and graced by noted writer Pratibha Ray and authors at social media platforms of Bakul Library and Niyogi Books.
Published by Niyogi Books, "The Awasthis of Aamnagiri" is a novella set in the Hindi heartland that also takes Sarma back to her roots in Lucknow. The book traces life of the middle class family in a setting of the 70s and 80s.
