Obama Publishes a Memoir Called "A Promised Land"

Former President of the United States Barack Obama published a memoir called "A Promised Land". It is the first of the two volumes that Obama had written during his tenure as President of the United States which is between 2009 and 2017.
The book concludes with the killing of Osama bin Laden in 2011. The book is to be translated in several foreign languages such as Chinese, Polish, Vietnamese, French, German, Hungarian, Hebrew, etc. The former president has mentioned Ramayana and Mahabharata in his book. Also, he has included his fascinations about Mahatma Gandhiji. He has spoken about the Gandhis and BJP as "Divisive Nationalism".
Joe Biden, the presidential candidate who recently won the US elections, 2020 was the vice president of the USA during Barack Obama's tenure as President.

An Army officer's wife and sister, the author has seen the men in olive green from close quarters, so tales were always floating around her; but compiling those takes acumen and she has used it to the hilt.
A daredevil officer survives grievous injures in battle and then gets killed in a freak accident, as a stray bullet pierces his head during a practice camp.

Sonu Sood's Autobiography 'I Am No Messiah'

Sonu Sood had earlier informed that he was writing a book recounting his experience of helping migrant workers during the Covid lockdown. Titled as I Am No Messiah, the book is written in first person, revealing the emotional challenges the actor faced while extending help.
Talking about the book, Sonu said that people have been very kind and have lovingly named me the messiah. But I am no messiah. It is our responsibility as human beings to be compassionate and help each other.
The book is co-written by Meena Iyer and is expected to be out by mid-December.

Bidya Devi Bhandari Releases a Special Pictorial Anthology on Mahatma Gandhi

Nepal President Bidya Devi Bhandari has released a special pictorial anthology on Mahatma Gandhi to mark the 151st birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. This anthology is written in the Nepali language. The book was launched at a special function held at in Kathmandu in the presence of Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Vinay Mohan Kwatra.
This anthology on Gandhi is titled as "Maile Bujheko Gandhi" or "the Gandhi as I understood".
The book has been released to mark the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and the culmination of the 2 year-long celebrations of '150 years of Mahatma'.
This anthology has been published by the Indian Embassy together with the B P Koirala India-Nepal Foundation.
The publishers hope that the teachings, ideas of Mahatma Gandhi will bring Nepalese youth closer to the global icon.
The book aims to bring to youth of Nepal closer to Mahatma Gandhi.
The book also brings together the perspectives of 25 eminent Nepali personalities about Mahatma Gandhi.

Anupam Kher Unveils Cover of His New Book 'Your Best Day Is Today!'

Veteran actor Anupam Kher unveiled the cover of his latest book "Your Best Day Is Today!"
Kher had announced the book during the coronavirus-induced countrywide lockdown.
Through this book, Kher will recount his experiences during the lockdown, several ups and downs, including the time when his mother Dulari and brother Raju Kher had contracted the virus.
The versatile actor's previous two books are his biography "Lessons Life Taught Me Unknowingly" published last year (2019) and another is "The Best Thing About You is You!", which was released in 2011.
