Karan Johar Authors a Children's Book "The Big Thoughts of Little Luv"

  • Bollywood Filmmaker Karan Johar authored a children's picture book titled "The Big Thoughts of Little Luv" inspired by his Twins Yash and Roohi. The book will be published by Juggernaut Books.
  • The book narrates the story of the twins Luv and Kusha and features the challenges faced by the parents and the difference imposed between the boys and girls by the parents while raising them.
  • This is the first picture book authored by Karan Johar.
  • Johar Karan released his autobiography titled "An Unsuitable Boy" in 2017.
  • He received the Padma Shri Award (the fourth Highest Civilian Award) in the field of Arts in January 2020.

  • The 186-page memoir of covers the period when cricket was patronised by royal families and the life incidence of Gurcharan Singh during the 1947 partition.
  • The book also narrates his recent visit to his native Gangakaas in Pakistan.
  • Gurcharan Singh played 37 first class matches for Maharaja of Patiala's XI, Railways, and Souther Punjab.
  • He later joined the National Institute of Sports as a Coach.
  • He launched the Pace Academy at Gwalior in 1992.
  • He was honoured with Dronacharya Award in 1987.

  • The book 'Running Toward Mystery: The Adventure of an Unconventional Life' authored by Tenzin Priyadarshi and co-written by Zara Houshmand was released. The book provides an account of how the Dalai Lama traced his Spiritual Teacher Khunu Lama in India.
  • Tenzin Priyadarshi is the President and CEO of The Dalai Lama Center for Ethics and Transformative Values at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Zara Houshmand is an Iranian American author and literary translator.
  • The author Priyadarshi talks about teachers who have influenced his life including Dalai Lama, Former Archbishop of Cape Town Desmond Tutu and Mother Teresa.
  • The book also shares his thoughts on Science and Technology, Meditation and Spiritual Disillusionment and the relationship between Buddhism and the modern world.
  • Further, he describes his life at MIT and describes how the 2008 financial crisis gave critical momentum for the formation of The Dalai Lama Center for Ethics and Transformative Values.
