Tata Consultancy Services to be New Title Sponsor for Jaguar Formula E Team
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has joined the iconic British racing team Jaguar Racing as title partner ahead of the 2021/22 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. The team will be known as Jaguar TCS Racing.
During this multi-year partnership, TCS and Jaguar will create a platform that will drive research and innovation while steering towards advanced concepts and electric vehicle technologies. Formula E Championship is a single-seater motorsport championship for electric cars.
J&K Team Clinch 1st Position in World Deaf Judo Championship
The Jammu & Kashmir team for deaf clinched 1st position in World Deaf Judo Championship held at Paris Versailles, France. Rakshanda Mehak who is part of the Indian team for the deaf clinched the bronze medal by defeating the South Korean team in the semifinal. The championship was held at Versailles, France. The championship is organised by the International Committee of Sports for the Deaf.

Army Officer Creates Guinness World Record Cycling from Gujarat to Arunachal
Lt. Col. Bharat Pannu, a serving Electronics and Mechanical Engineer (EME) officer in the Army, bagged his third Guinness World Record by cycling across the country from Gujarat to Arunachal Pradesh covering a distance of 3,800 km in nine days seven hours and five minutes.
His effort was part of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation War of Bangladesh in 1971, which is being observed as 'Swarnim Vijay Varsh' in honour of the Soldiers who laid down their lives in the line of duty.
Lt. Col. Pannu began his effort on October 17, 2021 from Koteshwar, Gujarat and finished in Kibithoo, Arunachal Pradesh, on October 26, 2021.

Fran Wilson Retires from International Cricket
England World Cup winner Fran Wilson retired from International cricket.
She played 64 matches for England across the three formats. She was part of the England team, which won the 2017 50-over World Cup at Lord's.
The batter will continue to play domestic cricket in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, Charlotte Edwards Cup and The Hundred.

Indian boxers Akash Kumar (54kg) and Narender Berwal (+92kg) advanced to the quarterfinals of the AIBA Men's World Championships here today, notching up contrasting but exhilarating victories against their respective opponents. While Akash staved off a stiff challenge from Puerto Rico's Caleb Tirado to clinch it 5-0, Narender pummelled a heavily distracted and mostly sluggish Jakhon Qurbonov of Tajikistan, stopping him in the second round itself.

The second seeded local star spent one hour and 33 minutes on court to win against the two times former winner from Japan in three games, 20-22, 21-18, 21-12.
