Airtel Launches AI Tool to Block Scam Websites in Real Time

In continuation of its fight against spam, Airtel unveiled a new cutting-edge solution that will detect and block malicious websites across all communication Over- The-Top (OTT) apps and platforms including emails, browsers, OTTs like WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, Instagram, SMSes et.al in real time. This safe service will be seamlessly integrated with, and auto- enabled for, all Airtel mobile and broadband customers at no additional cost. When a customer tries to access a website flagged as malicious by Airtel's advanced security system, the page load is blocked, and customers are redirected to a page explaining the reason for the block.

India is among the top six countries worldwide in terms of 6G patent filings, said Union Minister of State for Telecom Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani at the BHARAT 6G 2025 conference.
Pemmasani noted that India's advancements in 6G are pivotal to its aspirations of becoming a global technology leader.

HCL Technologies Signs European Commission's AI Pact

HCL Technologies (HCLTech) signed the European Commission's AI Pact, reinforcing its commitment to the responsible development and deployment of AI technologies internally and with clients.
The AI Pact, a voluntary framework launched by the European Commission, encourages organisations to take proactive steps towards ethical AI ahead of the full implementation of the EU's AI Act, the first comprehensive legal framework for AI. The pact mandates signatory organisations to take proactive steps to align with the Act's emphasis on safety, transparency and human oversight.

SpaceX Falcon 9 Launches 26 Starlink Satellites to Orbit

SpaceX launched a batch of Starlink satellites from Vandenberg Space Force Base.
The mission, dubbed Starlink 15-4, added another 26 Starlink V2 Mini Optimised satellites into low Earth orbit.
This launch also represented SpaceX's 18th launch this year from California. The Federal Aviation Administration and the Department of the Air Force granted the company the ability to launch up to 50 times from pad 4 East annually.

India, Chile Sign Terms of Reference for Economic Agreement

India and Chile took a major step forward in strengthening their economic partnership by signing the Terms of Reference (ToR) for a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).
This agreement marks a new chapter in trade relations between the two countries.
The ToR was signed by Juan Angulo, Ambassador of Chile to India, and Vimal Anand, Joint Secretary in the Department of Commerce, who is also the Chief Negotiator for India-Chile CEPA from the Indian side.
