Human Eggs Grown in Laboratory

In a move likely to lead to improved fertility treatments, human eggs have been fully grown for the first time in a laboratory at the University of Edinburgh. Scientists from Britain and the US have grown egg cells, which were removed from ovary tissue at their earliest stage of development, to the point at which they are ready to be fertilised. The advance could potentially help cancer patients wishing to preserve their fertility while undergoing chemotherapy treatment and deepen scientific understanding of the biology of the earliest stages of human life.

World's Most Powerful Rocket Soars in the Space

The world's most powerful rocket, SpaceX's Falcon Heavy, roared into space through clear skies with the thundering force of 18747 jetliners on its debut test flight from Florida Launch site in another milestone for billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk's private rocket service. The 23-story tall jumbo rocket, carrying a Cherry red Tesla Roadster from the assembly line of Musk's electric car company as a mock payload, thundered off its launch pad in billowing clouds of steam and rocket exhaust. This maiden flight marked the first time a privately financed rocket ever attempted to boost a payload out of earth's orbit.

Rover to spend 14 days on moon

Gearing up for its most challenging space mission, Indian Space Research Organization (Isro) is leaving no stone unturned to make the Chandrayaan-2 (lunar-2) mission a success. Unlike the first lunar mission when a PSLV rocket carried the spacecraft to the moon's orbit, this time heavy-payload lifter GSLV Mk II will launch the spacecraft weighing 3,290kg as the module will carry an orbiter, a rover and a lander to the moon.

FASTER AND BETTER

Lamborghini, with its Urus, claims to have made the world's first super sports utility vehicle. One of the key elements of the car is its powertrain. It has an engine that is compact, powerful and has the ability to deliver astonishing Torque at low revs. At its heart is Lamborghini's first V8 four-litre twin-turbo engine that delivers a max power of 650 PS at 6,000 rpm and max Torque of 850 Nm at 2,250 rpm. With 163 HP per litre, the V8 engine has the highest specific power in the SUV segment.

The car has more than seven driving modes and a 'Tamburo' driving dynamics selector on the centre console. With STRADA, SPORT and CORSA and the additional NEVE (snow) TERRA (off-road) and SABBIA (sand) modes, the adaptive damper concept is automatically adjusted to different driving modes. It can be customised by the driver via the EGO mode, choosing the required rigidity for a comfortable ride to an aggressive setting depending on the driving style and road conditions.
