TCY has adopted the following Privacy Policy to protect the privacy of all its candidates. The Privacy Policy is applicable to personal information that is submitted to us, whether offline or online. We may, at any time, update our Privacy Policy for reflecting changes to our information practices.
- All personnel, involved in certification, are subject to confidentiality obligations in the performance of certification activities and sign an agreement to this effect. Personal or commercially sensitive information gained by TCY in the course of certification activities shall not be disclosed to a third party without the written consent of the affected parties. Where the law requires the information to be disclosed to a third party, the relevant party will be informed of the information provided as permitted by the law. Some of certification activities require the publication of information about an organisation or individual. An option to opt out of such publication of some information is available at the time of the applicable application.

All personnel working at TCY are required to operate in an impartial manner. They shall show no favouritism to or discriminate against any person, group or organisation. Persons taking decisions on certification cannot be involved in the assessment process leading to a recommendation for certification. Where a potential conflict of interest may arise, TCY will take appropriate action to eliminate or minimise the threat so that the certification process is not compromised. Certification will not be granted where there is an unacceptable threat to impartiality.
TCY does not offer or provide training for TELT, or, aid others in the preparation of services. Neither does TCY outsource assessments or audits to other organisations. It is TCY's policy to keep training and consultancy independent of evaluation and certification to ensure that confidentiality and impartiality are not compromised.

Your personal data, including information concerning ID, will be kept secure at all times in accordance with TCY's Data Protection Policy.

We may use your personal information to respond to your enquiries or requests, send notifications related to test, if any.

TCY may, at any time, use your Testing ID, and any such information available to TCY to verify your identity in order to provide accurate test results.

During the test, a web camera on every screen will take random photographs throughout the test to collect a testing video in order to avoid any nuisance and fraudulent activity. TCY research team may use this testing video for improvement purposes and examination validation.

If, at any time, you do not wish to receive notifications from us, you can unsubscribe the same, or, you can contact us by dropping a mail.

TCY is committed to not sharing your personal information with any third party, or, using your personal information for any reason other than examination scoring and validation.

TCY gives you the right to delete your account at any time by following the instructions that may appear through the Service. Test data, including your results and Testing Video, may be stored by TCY for research and analysis purposes.

TCY has implemented reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures for protection of confidentiality, integrity, availability of your personal information and TCY English language Test results.
