Former Chief Justice of India (CJI) N. V. Ramana was appointed member of the International Mediation Panel of the Singapore International Mediation Centre (SIMC).
A letter of appointment was presented to him by George Lim, Chairman of SIMC.
Justice Ramana took part in the 'Singapore Convention Week', the annual convention organised by Singapore's Ministry of Law, United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) and over 20 partner organisations.

Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal Launches Tele-Law- 2.0
Law and Justice Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal launched Tele-Law- 2.0 that integrates Tele-Law and Nyaya Bandhu App to ensure access to justice in New Delhi. This will enable the common citizen to access legal advice, legal assistance and legal representation through a single registration and single gateway of Tele-Law.
Meghwal said that the number of beneficiaries of the Tele-Law Scheme reached 50 lakhs. He said, the integration of legal guidance, support, and representation through a single registration process stands as a testament to the commitment to nurture a digitally literate and empowered populace.

Advocate K. Parameshwar was appointed as Additional Advocate General (AAG) to represent the Government of Uttar Pradesh (UP) in cases before the Supreme Court of India.
Parameshwar graduated from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad in 2007. He has been practicing in the Supreme Court for 16 years.
Notably, he has served as amicus curiae in numerous cases before the apex court.

Jharkhand High Court Introduces E-Seva Kendra-Cum-Help Desks
In a move aimed at enhancing accessibility and simplifying legal proceedings, the Jharkhand High Court unveiled two innovative 'e-seva kendra-cum- help desks' within its premises. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Chief Justice Sanjaya Kumar Mishra, alongside the presence of all sitting judges of the high court.
Jharkhand High Court Registrar General Muhammad Shakir informed that the help desks will also give out information about case status, next date of hearing and other relevant details to litigants and lawyers alike.
