Book on Rabindranath Tagore by Uma Das Gupta

The book titled "A History of Sriniketan: Rabindranath Tagore's Pioneering Work in Rural Construction" authored by Uma Das Gupta and published under Niyogi Books 'Paper Missile' was released. The book contains Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore's work in 'village reconstruction' by setting up 'Sriniketan', a wing of his Visva Bharati International University at Santiniketan in 1922, which is also popularly known as a university town. It is situated in West Bengal.

A new book titled "Dignity in a Digital Age: Making Tech Work for All of Us" authored by Ro Khanna was released. The book highlights the effects of changing lifestyle patterns of Americans due to technological progress. It also mentioned about the digital divide i.e., unequal access to technology and revenue, as it is one of the most pressing issues faced by the United States. Ro Khanna is an Indian-American who is a US Congressman representing the California district that includes the Silicon Valley region.

A Book 'How to Prevent the Next Pandemic' by Bill Gates

A book titled 'How to Prevent the Next Pandemic' authored by Bill Gates will be published this year in May 2022. In the book Bill Gates has written about specific steps that can only stop future pandemics but, in the process, provide better health care for everyone around the world.
His last book, "How to Avoid a Climate Disaster: The Solutions We Have and the Breakthroughs We Need", was released in February 2021. The book is to be published by Penguin Random House internationally and Knopf in the US.

A Book "Atal Bihari Vajpayee" by Sagarika Ghose

A book titled "Atal Bihari Vajpayee" authored by Sagarika Ghose was launched. It is a biography of the former Prime Minister of India. Sagarika Ghose is a jounalist. She has also authored a book titled "Indira: India's Most Powerful Prime Minister".
Sagarika took the author three years to complete the biography. "The research was daunting," says Sagarika, who had to go through all the Parliament speeches from the 1950s to the 90s, Parliament records, Vajpayee's speeches, his written work, the pronouncements made by his Government, minutes of party meetings, proceedings of annual conferences, party periodicals, the large number of bills he moved in Parliament…the list is exhaustive. This was followed by around 50 interviews with members of the RSS and the BJP and his close aides.

Book Penned on Neeraj Chopra Released

A short biography 'Golden Boy Neeraj Chopra' penned by sports author Navdeep Singh Gill was released in a ceremony held at Punjabi Bhawan.
The biography on Tokyo Olympics-2021 gold medalist Neeraj Chopra was released by chairperson of Punjab Kala Parishad Surjit Patar and president of Punjabi Sahit Akademi Lakhwinder Singh Johal, amid the presence of the author and his family members.
It is the seventh book written by Navdeep and the sixth placing focus on the sports as well as the sportspersons. The book brought out by Lokgeet Prakashan is from the genre of children's literature.
