India's first-ever season style book 'The Class of 2006: Sneak Peek into the Misadventures of the Great Indian Engineering Life', written by management professional Akash Kansal, was launched virtually amidst one of the biggest book launch ceremonies of the year at IIT Kanpur & Delhi Technological University.
The book was released on Amazon Kindle by talented Indian film actor, writer, director, and producer R. Madhavan.
'The Class of 2006: Sneak Peek into the Misadventures of the Great Indian Engineering Life' consist of 18 different episodes, each with a Learning Box, and is definitely a good read to reminisce the times spent in college, especially for MBA, Engineering college students and aspirants.

Book "Fearless Governance" by Kiran Bedi

The book titled 'Fearless Governance' authored by Kiran Bedi was released. She is the former Lt Governor of Puducherry and IPS (retd). This book is based on the ground realities of nearly five years of service of Bedi as Lt. Governor of Puducherry and her vast experience of 40 years in the Indian Police Service.
The author demonstrates the right practises of responsible governance. She brought about team spirit, collaboration, financial prudence, effective policing, bonding in services and decision making through fearless leadership. 'Fearless Governance' is a book to read, see, hear and feel for good governance and leadership.

Subhash Garg Turns Author

Garg, a member of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) for over 36 years, has served in various key positions for both the Union government and government of Rajasthan. He was designated finance secretary in March 2019.
Former finance secretary Subhash Chandra Garg will soon make his debut as an author with upcoming book, "The $10 Trillion Dream", which claims to explore the critical policy issues that India faces today and suggests reforms for it to become a USD 10 trillion economy by the mid-2030s.

'A Little Book of India: Celebrating 75 Years of Independence' by Ruskin Bond

Drawing on his own memories and impression of India, celebrated author Ruskin Bond in his latest book, "A Little Book of India: Celebrating 75 years of Independence" released in January 2022, pays homage to the country that has been his home for 84 years.
The book, an amalgamation of the "physical and spiritual" attributes of India, promises to take readers on a journey filled with nostalgia and devotions. It is published by Penguin Random House India (PRHI).
This little book does not claim to be a political or historical analysis of events, although I have dwelt on the highlights of the last 75 years of India's progress to maturity as a nation.

Comic Book 'India's Women Unsung Heroes' released by Meenakshi Lekhi

Remembering the lesser-known Indian women who selflessly fought against the British Raj and immensely contributed to India's freedom struggle, a new comic book honoring them was released at the national capital. The comic book titled 'India's Women Unsung Heroes' was launched by Union Minister for Culture and author Meenakshi Lekhi at IGNCA, New Delhi in January 2022.
The unique book has been prepared by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India in partnership with Amar Chitra Katha. It beautifully portrays the tales of valor of our forgotten women freedom fighters.

A Book Titled 'The Legend of Birsa Munda' by Tuhin A Sinha & Ankita Verma

Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari released a book titled 'The Legend of Birsa Munda', authored by Tuhin A Sinha and co-authored by Ankita Verma. The Book is the story of a lesser-known tribal hero, Birsa Munda, who courageously fought against the oppressive British Raj for the rights of his tribal community.
According to the authors, "The book based on true events is a tribute to Birsa Munda who in a very short life mobilized the tribal community, rebelled against forced conversions, envisioned a fair and just society and died fighting for it. The Legend of Birsa Munda is the story of a subaltern tribal hero whose contribution to India's struggle for independence must never be forgotten."
