English Language Day is celebrated on 23 April annually and is a United Nations (UN) observance day. The day coincides with both the birthday and death day of William Shakespeare and World Book Day.
Language is just not a means of communication; it also represents vast cultural and intellectual heritage as well. The theme of the year 2022 is "Using technology for multilingual learning: Challenges and opportunities"

For Earth Day, National Geographic Launches Campaign' One for Change'

Celebrating Earth Day (April 22), National Geographic announced the launch of its one-of-its-kind initiative titled One for Change. Through this initiative, the channel will showcase a series of short films, spotlighting the exceptional stories of change-makers who have taken extraordinary steps to make our world a better place.
In addition, National Geographic will also support the initiative by featuring the films and encouraging millions of its viewers to walk the path of change.

World Creativity and Innovation Day

World Creativity and Innovation Day is celebrated on April 21 every year. The day aims to raise awareness about the importance of creativity and innovation in problem-solving and encourage creative multidisciplinary thinking at the individual and group levels. The World Creativity and Innovation Week is also observed from April 15-21.
The theme of World Creativity and Innovation Day 2022: Collaboration
World Creativity and Innovation Day (WCID) was founded on 25 May 2001 in Toronto, Canada. The founder of the day was the Canadian Marci Segal. Segal was studying creativity in 1977 at the International Center for Studies in Creativity.

National Civil Service Day

Every year on 21 April Civil Service Day is celebrated to rededicate and recommit themselves to the cause of the people. On this day Civil servants from various parts of the country come together, share their experiences and also learn about others' experiences of working in the public sector.
The reason behind choosing this very date was to commemorate the day when the first Home Minister of Independent India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, addressed the probationers of Administrative Services Officers in 1947 at Metcalf House, Delhi. There he referred to civil servants as the 'steel frame of India'. This meant that civil servants, employed at various levels of the government, act as supporting pillars of the country's administrative system.

World Haemophilia Day

April 17 2022, is World Hemophilia Day. The theme of the event for 2022 was "Access for All: Partnership. Policy. Progress. Engaging your government, integrating inherited bleeding disorders into national policy".
By raising awareness and bringing hemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders to the attention of policymakers, we can increase sustainable and equitable access to care and treatment.

Hanuman Jayanti 2022

Hanuman Jayanti is a Hindu festival during which devotees across India celebrate Lord Hanuman's birth. According to the Hindu calendar, this festival is held every year in the lunar month of Chaitra. Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated on the day of the full moon in Chaitra. It fell on April 16 this year (2022).
Devotees celebrate this day with great enthusiasm. Hanuman is known as the son of Kesari and Anjana. Lord Hanuman is sometimes also referred to as Pavan Putra.
