Paul Alexander, the Man in the Iron Lung, Passes Away

Paul Alexander, who spent much of his life in an iron lung after contracting polio as a child, passed away at the age of 78. Despite being paralysed from the neck down, Alexander's resilience and determination led him to become an inspirational figure, achieving milestones that defied his physical limitations.
He spent over 70 years confined to an iron lung, a mechanical respirator that sustained his breathing.
Paul Alexander's legacy extends beyond his remarkable life. Recognised by Guinness World Records as the "longest iron lung patient," he leaves behind a legacy of courage, determination, and advocacy. His journey serves as a testament to the human spirit's resilience in the face of adversity.

Surya Kiran, Telugu Film Director, Passes Away

Telugu child actor-turned-director Surya Kiran, who helmed films like 'Satyam' and 'Dhana 51', passed away. He was 48.
Kiran made his debut in the film industry as a child actor and worked in over 200 films. Surya made his directorial debut in 2003 with the film 'Satyam'.

"Dragon Ball" Creator Akira Toriyama Has Died

TOKYO — Akira Toriyama, one of the most influential and best-selling manga authors of all time, has died, his studio said Friday. He was 68.
Toriyama died March 1 of a blood clot in his brain, his production company Bird Studio said in a statement on Friday. A funeral service had been held with only his family and a few relatives, it said.
The Japanese author is best known as the creator of the popular Dragon Ball manga series, which has fans across the world and spawned a well-known anime series, video games and films.

Manish Prasad is President and MD for SAP Indian Subcontinent

German technology major SAP appointed Manish Prasad as President and Managing Director for SAP Indian subcontinent. He succeeded Kulmeet Bawa, who took on a global role to drive the growth and adoption of the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) for global customers.
In his new role, Prasad will help advance SAP's move to the cloud, enabling customers across all industries to digitally transform with SAP.
Prasad will be based in Bengaluru and report to Paul Marriott, president of SAP Asia Pacific Japan.
