The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully flight tested the Man-Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile (MPATGM). The anti-tank missile was flight-tested in its final deliverable configuration.
The indigenously developed MPATGM is a low weight, fire and forget missile.
The missile impacted the designated target and destroyed it. The final impact event was captured on camera and the test has validated the minimum range successfully.
The missile has a range of 2.5 km.

India successfully test fired BrahMos supersonic cruise missile from Indian Navy destroyer INS Vishakhapatnam off the Western coast. The sea to sea variant of the missile was test fired at the maximum range and hit the target ship with pinpoint accuracy.

Lt. Gen. Sengupta Takes over as Leh-based 14 Corps Commander
As India and China attempt to work out dates for the 14th round of Corps Commander level talks, the Army's Leh-based 14 Corps saw a change of guard as Lt. Gen. Anindya Sengupta took over as the General Officer Commanding (GOC), Fire and Fury Corps, replacing Lt. Gen. P.G.K. Menon, who led the last few rounds of talks from the Indian side.
Lt. Gen. Sengupta was part of the Indian delegation during the 13th round of talks with China which ended in a stalemate, with both sides exchanging sharp statements on the outcome.
Prior to taking over this appointment, Lt. Gen. Sengupta was Director General, Strategic Planning, at the Army Headquarters in New Delhi.

Six Nations Take Part in 'Sub Hunting' Exercise
Six countries started a 'submarine hunting' exercise at mid-sea using specialised maritime reconnaissance planes, among other equipment.
The exercise "Sea Dragon 22" is being conducted from a US base, Andersen Air Force Base in Guam, in the western Pacific.
Apart from the 'Quad' countries of India, the US, Australia and Japan, the Canadian Air Force and the South Korea will join in.
Sea Dragon 22 is centered on anti-submarine warfare (ASW) training and excellence.

Indian Army Conducts Training Exercise with IAF's Apache Attack Helicopters
The Indian Army brigade under the Rising Star Corps conducted an integrated training exercise with Apache attack helicopters of the Indian Air Force (IAF).
Operational parameters of joint manoeuvres and communication between Apaches, armoured fighting vehicles and infantry were successfully validated.
Navy officer Bauernschmidt First Woman to Command US Nuclear Carrier
The USS Abraham Lincoln deployed this week from San Diego under the command of Capt Amy Bauernschmidt, the first woman to lead a nuclear carrier in US Navy history.
Bauernschmidt, who previously served as the Abraham Lincoln's executive officer from 2016 to 2019, took over command from Capt Walt Slaughter.
Bauernschmidt previously served as the commanding officer of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 70 and the amphibious transport dock San Diego.
