Azim Premji, Dr. Devi Shetty Chosen for Press Club of Bangalore Awards
Azim Premji and the founder chairman of Narayana Health Dr. Devi Prasad Shetty are among those who have been selected for the annual awards given by the Press Club of Bangalore.
Premji has been chosen for 'Press Club Person of the Year', while Dr. Shetty and actor-Director Sudeep Sanjeev have been selected for the 'Press Club Special Award.'
Besides them, 25 senior journalists have also been selected for the 'Press Club Annual Awards.

Biswajit Chatterjee Awarded 'Indian Personality of the Year'
Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar announced veteran actor, director and singer Biswajit Chatterjee as the recipient of the 'Indian Personality of the Year' award. The 84-year-old actor is known for featuring in films like "Bees Saal Baad", "Night In London" and "April Fool".
Chatterjee started his career in the late 1950s and went on to work in films like "Biwi Aur Makan", "Sagaai", "Kohra" among others. In 1975, he directed and produced "Kahte Hain Mujhko Raja", featuring himself along with Dharmendra, Hema Malini and Rekha.
The honour aims to celebrate film personalities for their exemplary contribution to cinema. During Javadekar's address, he also made a strong pitch for the film industry as well as other private companies to start participating in the annual festival from its next edition.

In a virtual ceremony telecast and viewed by the country's top entrepreneurs, investors and policymakers, online stock trading platform Zerodha was awarded the prestigious prize for Start-up of the Year 2020.

20th ICSI National Awards for Excellence in Corporate Governance
ITC Limited has been adjudged 'Best Governed Company' at the 20th ICSI National Awards for Excellence in Corporate Governance, 2020 in the 'Listed Segment: Large Category'.
The award recognises its consistent growth and performance, contributive capabilities, governance ethos, and sensitised approach towards CSR and sustainable development.
The award was adjudged by a jury chaired by Justice A K Sikri, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India, and International Judge, Singapore International Commercial Court.
ITC's company secretary, Rajendra Kumar Singhi was also adjudged 'Governance Professional of the Year' for his contribution towards the adoption of effective governance processes.

Honey Bee Network Creativity Inclusive Innovation Award 2020
A Maharashtra teacher, who did not allow coronavirus-induced lockdown to come in the way of continuing his classes for his students in rural areas, has won recognition for his efforts that involved use of conference calls and storytelling.
Balaji Baburao Jadhav, who hails from Sangavi village under Renapur tehsil of Latur district in central Maharashtra, has been selected for the Honey Bee Network Creativity Inclusive Innovation Award 2020.
He is a Zilla Parishad teacher at Vijayanagar in Maan tehsil of Satara district and won the award for his teaching through conference call method.
