Union Home Minister's 'Medal for Excellence in Investigation' for 2021
As many as 152 police officers in the country have been conferred with the 'Union Home Minister's Medal for Excellence in Investigation' for 2021 for their high professional standards of investigation of crime.
The awardees include 28 women police officials from across the country.
This medal was constituted in 2018 with the objective to promote high professional standards of investigation of crime and to recognise such excellence in investigation by investigating officers.

Nagaland Wins 7 National Awards Under "Van Dhan Yojana Scheme"
Nagaland was conferred with seven national awards on the first Van Dhan Annual Awards 2020-21, during the celebration of 34th foundation day of Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India Limited (TRIFED).
The awards were presented by Union Tribal Minister, Arjun Munda through a Zoom webinar.
The state received seven national awards, with 1st positions in – 'Best Survey State', 'Best Training' and 'Most number of VDVKC's established'.

Telangana Wins AI Gamechanger Award for Crowd Monitoring Solution
The Telangana government's Information Technology, Electronics and Communications (ITE&C) department has won the AI Gamechanger Award at the Xperience-AI Summit organised by NASSCOM.
The extensive AI research works and projects adopted by the state government helped it to win the award.
For a thorough view of the landscape, entries across enterprises, start-ups, government bodies, academic institutes and NGOs were invited for the award.
The 'Crowd Monitoring using AI' scheme implemented by the state government has been awarded the AI Gamechanger Exemplar Award out of 300+ applications from multiple stakeholders.
