Signs of Frozen Water on Moon

NASA has discovered signs of frozen water on the lunar.
Scientists have identified that the bright areas in craters near the Moon's South Pole are cold enough to have frost present on the surface.
The evidence comes from an analysis that combined surface temperatures with information about how much light is reflected off the Moon's surface.

Potentially Habitable Super-earth Planet

Scientists have detected a new planet that could be habitable, located just 21 light years away.
The newly discovered planet, classified as Super-earth, may host liquid water on its surface.
Scientists say the planet thought to be a rocky world is roughly three times more massive than the Earth, and resides at the edge of the habitable zone of its host star GJ625 (Gliese 625).

Asia's Largest Computer Fair

Computex Taipei, Asia`s largest computer fair, is presenting the latest in robotics and artificial intelligence (AI), with the creation of a new section dedicated to this area of innovation.
More than 1,600 companies from 30 countries are participating in this year`s fair.
The fair also includes important information technology forums.

Sperm Frozen in ISS

Scientists have revealed that freeze-dried sperm stored for over nine months aboard the ISS has yielded healthy mice offspring, for the first time, suggesting that assisted reproduction may be possible for humans living in space in the future.

Bacteria Species Named after Late Indian President

The US space agency NASA has paid tribute to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam the much-loved, erstwhile Indian President, upholding his reputation as one of the world's greatest aerospace scientists, by naming a newly discovered organism after him.
A form of bacteria, the organism has till now been found only on the International Space Station (ISS) and never on Earth.
The bacteria has been named Solibacillus kalamii and was discovered by researchers at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), the foremost lab of NASA for work on inter-planetary travel, on the filters of the International Space Station (ISS).

Scientists Discover Puffy Planet

Researchers have discovered a new 'blown up' giant planet orbiting an extremely bright star 320 light years from Earth that has the density of styrofoam.
This “puffy planet” outside our solar system may hold opportunities for testing atmospheres that will be useful when assessing future planets for signs of life.

World's Biggest Wind Turbines

The planet’s biggest and most powerful wind turbines have begun generating electricity off the Liverpool coast, cementing Britain’s reputation as a world leader in the technology.
Danish company Dong Energy has installed 32 turbines in Liverpool Bay that are taller than the Gherkin skyscraper, with blades longer than nine London buses.
The developer believes these machines herald the future for offshore wind power: bigger, better and, most importantly, cheaper.
