Reasons for studying geography
• To learn about all the actions which have influenced the surface of the Earth
• To learn the various types of Blank 1 between particular environment and human population

Branches of geography
• First branch: Physical geography focuses on physical features of our planet
• Second branch: focuses on influences that various Blank 2 of mankind have had on Earth

Other branches:
• Integrated geography: describes interactions between humans and natural world; how humans Blank 3 the environment is important to understand
• Regional geography: focuses on unique features of the region
• Geomantic geography: uses techniques from cartography and tomography and their Blank 4 to computers
• Economic geography: often considered parallel to demography but is more than just what demography limits itself to--patterns of birth, death and marriage
• Population geography: concerned with distribution, Blank 5 and growth of population
• Historical geography: studies how people's interaction with environment has changed with time.
