Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) claimed the prestigious title of World's Best Airport 2025 at the Skytrax World Airport Awards held in Madrid, Spain marking its thirteenth victory in the awards' history.
In addition to the top honour, Changi Airport also secured awards for World's Best Airport Dining, World's Best Airport Washrooms, and Best Airport in Asia, cementing its status as a global aviation leader.
The annual World Airport Awards, conducted by Skytrax, are based on comprehensive customer satisfaction surveys involving over 100 nationalities between August 2024 and February 2025. The evaluation covers all aspects of the airport experience, from check-in and security to shopping and gate departures.

The 4th Joint Working Group Meeting on Tourism Cooperation between India and Japan
The 4th Joint Working Group (JWG) Meeting on Tourism Cooperation between India and Japan was in New Delhi. The meeting was co-chaired by Ms. Mugdha Sinha, Director General, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and Mr. Haraikawa Naoya, Commissioner, Japan Tourism Agency (JTA). Officials and private stakeholders from both countries took part, including representatives from airlines, tourismand travel associations and Government institutions. Key organizations included Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA), JTTRI, Japan Airlines and ANA from the Japanese side. The Indian delegation comprised of Ministry of External Affairs, Civil Aviation, Education, NCHMCT, ICCR and private stakeholders like Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO), Outbound Tour Operators Association of India (OTOAI), Association of Buddhist Tour Operators (ABTO). The meeting focused on finding new ways to work together and enhance tourism ties between the two nations. Minister of Tourism, Gajendra Singh Sekhawat, hosted a welcome dinner for the Japanese delegation.

Air India Partners with Apple to Enable AirTag-based Lost Baggage Tracking
Air India partnered with Apple to integrate Apple's item tracker, AirTag, with its baggage tracking system and mobile app. This partnership allows Apple device users to track the location of their luggage and share that information with the airline, simplifying the process of finding lost baggage.
Apple introduced the 'Share Item Location' feature last year (2024), enabling travellers to share the location of their AirTag or other compatible 'Find My' network accessories with other parties, including some airlines. Air India became the first Indian airline to join the list of airlines taking part, which includes British Airways, Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines, Air Canada, Virgin Atlantic, and others.
