Rocketry Adjudged as the Best Feature Film in 69th National Film

The 69th National Film Awards ceremony, honouring the best that Indian cinema had to offer in the year 2021, was held at the Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. The winners, whose names were announced earlier in September, were honoured by the President of India, Droupadi Murmu.
The National Awards are running a year behind schedule because of pandemic-related delays. Among the winners were actors Allu Arjun, who won the Best Actor award for the film Pushpa: The Rise, Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon, who shared the award for Best Actress for their films, Gangubai Kathiawadi and Mimi respectively. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect won the award for Best Feature Film. The Kashmir Files won the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Film on National Integration at the 69th National Film Awards.

RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das Receives Award for A+ Ranking in Global Finance Central Banker Repor...

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das received the Award for being ranked 'A+' in the Global Finance Central Banker Report Cards 2023 in Marakkesh city of Morocco. The award recognizes those central bank governors whose strategies outperformed their peers through originality, creativity, and tenacity.
The awards were announced in the month of September 2023 and along with RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das, two other central bankers- Thomas J. Jordan of Switzerland and Nguyen Thi Hong of Vietnam earned an 'A+' grade in the Global Finance Central Banker Report Cards 2023.

He said that Intellectual Property could also be termed as an area of Infinite Potential.

Hollywood Actor Michael Douglas to be Given Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award

Hollywood actor and producer Michael Douglas will be presented with the Satyajit Ray Excellence in Film Lifetime Award at the 54th International Film Festival Goa, in November 2023 Union minister of information and broadcasting Anurag Thakur announced.
Michael Douglas began his Hollywood career in 1966 and acted in more than 63 movies, winning the Academy Award for 'Best Actor' for the 1987 drama 'Wall Street'.
He received an American Film Institute Lifetime Award in 2009 and has won and been nominated for several BAFTAs, Golden Globe Awards and Emmy Awards.
Previous winners of the Satyajit Ray Excellence in Film Lifetime Award include Martin Scorcese, Wong Kar-wai, Lata Mangeshkar and Dilip Kumar.

Sivasankari Honoured With Saraswati Samman

Noted author and activist Sivasankari was honoured with the prestigious Saraswati Samman for the year 2022 for her memoir written in Tamil, Surya Vamsam, at the National Museum in Delhi.
The Saraswati Samman, instituted by the KK Birla Foundation in 1991, carries a plaque, a citation, and a cash prize of Rs. 15 lakh. Sivasankari is the 32nd recipient of the award, joining a pantheon of writers over the years. The selection follows a rigorous three-tier process leading up to a final decision by Chayan Parishad currently headed by former Supreme Court judge, justice Arjan Kumar Sikri.
