Three-day Kuchipudi Dance Festival Concludes in Vijayawada
A three-day Kuchipudi Dance performance organised by Save Kuchipudi Artists, Jayaho Bharatiyam and the Department of Language and Cultural concluded on a grand note at Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government Music and Dance College.
The Kuchipudi dance festival was organised in commemoration of the 93rd birth anniversary of world-renowned Kuchipudi dance artist Vempati China Satyam.
More than 3,000 Kuchipudi dancers from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will take part in the Kuchipudi Dance Festival.

Shah Inaugurates 'Gatha Swaraj Ki' Gallery in Scindia Museum
Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated 'Gatha Swaraj ki' gallery in Gwalior's famous HH Maharaja Jiwajirao Scindia museum.
Amit inaugurated the gallery dedicated to the glorious history of the Marathas in the freedom struggle.
One special thing is that for the first time the portrait of Laxmibai is being displayed in the museum as a Maratha warrior. It would be fair to say that the Scindia dynasty has been facing constant criticism regarding Rani Laxmibai.
A special guide was arranged for the explanation about the Maratha gallery during the visit of Amit Shah in gallery and the guide explained in deep about Rani Laxmibai to Amit Shah.
After 165 years, a major change is taking place in the Scindia royal family of Gwalior. Rani Laxmi Bai of Jhansi, the heroine of the first revolution against the British in 1857, playing the bugle of revolution against the British, and it was here that she attained martyrdom. Since then, the Scindia family has been on the target of people regarding this matter.
This museum, full of grand rooms, was built by the late Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia in memory of her husband Maharaja Jivaji Rao Scindia. The saga of the Scindia family, the belongings of his family etc have been preserved. This museum is one of the few royal museums in the world, where thousands of visitors from all over the world reach Gwalior every year.

South Indian Bank Enters World Book of Records for '101 Oonjals'
The South Indian Bank organised an event 'Onnichirikkam Oonjaladam' and was accoladed with the World Book of Records award for 'staging and swinging 101 Oonjals'.
The event 'Onnichirikkam Oonjaladam' saw people gathered in large numbers to celebrate unity and prosperity during the ongoing festival season. Swings were made using wood and rope in the traditional way.
South Indian Bank had for the first time organized a first-of-its-kind category event 'Staging and Swinging 101 Oonjals' simultaneously at a single venue in Kochi.
The World Book of Records team presented the Award to South Indian Bank officials.
An Oonjal is a sturdy rectangular plank suspended by iron link chains hooked to the ceiling of a hall or balcony. Oonjals are a part of a ritual at the weddings of a section in Tamil Nadu. In Kerala, the swinging tradition forms an integral part of Onam festivities.

Jai Ram Thakur Inaugurates Science Museum at Chamba School
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur inaugurated a science museum at the government senior secondary school for boys in Chamba in presence of Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Jitendra Singh.
Jai Ram said that the main objective of such museums was not only to make the people in general and students in particular aware of India's scientific journey and achievements during the last 75 years of independence, but also to inculcate scientific temper among schoolchildren.
The facility has been named Pandit Jaiwant Ram Upmanyu Science Museum as a mark of respect to the first speaker of HP Vidhan Sabha and the first head master of Indian origin in State High School Chamba.
J&K Tourism Department Inaugurates Bird Festival at Pahalgam
The first-of-its-kind six-day bird festival started at Pahalgam in a bid to attract tourists and bird lovers from across the country.
Secretary of Tourism, Sarmad Hafeez inaugurated the festival organised by the J&K Tourism department in collaboration with Sanctuary Nature Foundation (SNF).
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Tourism Department and the Sanctuary Nature Foundation. The logo of the bird fest was also unveiled in presence of team members of SNF, local school students, local stakeholders, and various other aligned departments.
In Kashmir, varied species of birds are found in all four seasons, (spring, summer, autumn and winter), including avian migratory visitors that come to Kashmir during the cold season when the temperature drops to below zero. In winter, the water bodies and wetlands of Kashmir host lakhs of avian visitors, and many of these birds fly thousands of kilometres from central Asian and European countries.

The 15th International Sufi Rang Festival 2022 in Ajmer
The 15th International Sufi Rang Festival 2022 began in Ajmer. This event has been organised and planned by Haji Syed Salman, Chairman of Chishty Foundation, an Ajmer Sharif-based organisation. The festival will culminate on October 7.
The annual International Sufi Festival India (ISFI) is a commemorative fiesta in honour of the Sufi Saint, Hazrath Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty. Held yearly in Ajmer, the ISFI festival, remembers the teachings of Sufi Saint Hazrath Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty. The crux of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty's teaching talks about the union of the human soul with the Ultimate (God) through the medium of Sufi music. As a result, music and dance acts abound during this enormous festival.
ISFI had launched the country's first International Sufi Film Festival as part of the festival to promote and offer a platform for Sufi film makers.
