Global Day of Parents 2022 was on 1st June 2022 to honor parents across the world. Global Parents Day provides an opportunity to appreciate and encourage all parents in all parts of the world for their selfless commitment to children and their lifelong sacrifices towards nurturing this relationship.

This theme is the endorsement of parents' struggles and sacrifices towards their children across the world. Also, this theme urges us to acknowledge Parents' worth & affection and to value the sacrifices they make for their children.

Anti-Tobacco Day
Anti-Tobacco Day or World No Tobacco Day is observed on May 31 every year across the globe to make people aware and educate them about the harmful effects of tobacco on health which causes cardiovascular diseases, cancer, tooth decay, staining of teeth etc.
Jharkhand was selected for World No Tobacco Day (WNTD) Award-2022 by the World Health Organisation. The Indian state was recognised by the global health body for its efforts in controlling tobacco consumption.
WHO Award for Tobacco Control was received by the State Tobacco Control Cell of the Health Department on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day in Delhi.

International Everest Day
International Everest Day is celebrated every year on May 29. The day was observed for the first time in 2008, the year Edmund Hillary died.
On this day, a series of memorial events and processions take place in Nepal's capital Kathmandu and the Everest region. International Everest Day is also a crucial annual event for Nepal's mountain tourism. Mount Everest attracts climbers, including highly experienced mountaineers, every year from across the globe. The British named it Mount Everest after Sir George Everest, a 19th-century British surveyor of South Asia.
World Digestive Health Day
Every year, World Digestive Health Day (WDHD) is observed on 29 May. It is organised by the World Gastroenterology Organisation (WGO) in collaboration with the WGO Foundation (WGOF). Each year the day focuses upon a particular digestive disease and/or disorder in order to increase general public awareness of prevention, prevalence, diagnosis, management and treatment of the disease and/or disorder.
World Digestive Health Day was launched in 2004 to mark the 45th anniversary of the creation of the World Gastroenterology Organisation. The organisation has over 100 member societies and 50,000 individual members all over the world.

International Day of Action for Women's Health
In the year 1987, May 28th was declared as International Day of Action for Women's Health or International Women's Health Day. Since then each year this day is celebrated by women's and health groups. Latin American and Caribbean Women's Health Network (LACWHN) and Women's Global Network for Reproductive Rights (WGNRR) are working together to make this campaign successful.
The main objective of this day is to raise awareness on the issues related to women's health and well being such as Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). It is one of the best platforms to remind everyone specially the government leaders and parliamentarians that the women's health matters.

International Missing Children's Day
International Missing Children's Day is an awareness event that is observed every year on 25th of May. The aims of the day are to place a spotlight on the issue of child abduction, educate parents on safeguarding measures to protect their children and also honour those who have never been found and celebrate those who have. This awareness event is run in conjunction with the Global Missing Children's Network. The network, which was formed in 1998, has 23 member countries who all connect in order to share information and best practice, working towards improving the effectiveness and success rate of missing children investigations.
Missing Children's Day began as an observance in the USA in 1983. The date was chosen following the disappearance of 6-year-old Etan Patz on 25th May 1979 from New York City. International Missing Children's Day which observes the same date was launched a number of years later in 2001 and is now observed all over the world.
