Atal Innovation Mission Launches 'Innovations for You'
Government think-tank Niti Aayog's Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) launched a digi-book, 'Innovations for You', to showcase the success stories of AIM's start-ups in different domains.
According to an official statement, the first edition of the AIM's book is focused on innovations in health care and soon, other sectors shall follow.
The book is a compilation of 45 health tech start-ups, incubated at Atal Incubation Centres spread across the country.

JK Rowling Releases Christmas Book
Harry Potter author JK Rowling released her first children's Christmas book, inspired by lockdown and her son David's beloved cuddly toy pigs.
"The Christmas Pig" is a story about being lost and being found, about loving and being loved, about what stays with us and what falls away.
The idea came from a cuddly toy pig that has been a favourite of her son since he was a baby, but which he kept hiding and losing.

NITI Aayog: Handbook on Sustainable Urban Plastic Waste Management
The Vice Chairman of NITI Aayog, Rajiv Kumar, launched the "NITI Aayog – United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Handbook on Sustainable Urban Plastic Waste Management".
This handbook was launched in New Delhi.
The handbook provides a comprehensive overview to manage plastic waste by representing and discussing the components of entire plastic waste value chain.
It was launched with the motive of spreading awareness amongst the masses regarding the harmful effects of plastic.
Under the handbook, Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) are mandated to manage municipal solid waste & plastic waste, under the Municipal Solid Waste Management Rules 2016, and Plastic Waste Management Rules 2016, at the city level.
Handbook is a repository of 18 case studies or best practices from India, and 4 from south Asian countries.
