'Sportstar and The Hindu Group Relsease Book 'Road to 1000'

Sportstar and the Hindu Group released a coffee-table book, 'Road to 1000', at the 2022 Sportstar Aces Awards at The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. The book is a 520-page, special collection with 1000 pictures to commemorate Indian cricket's journey. 'Road to 1000' was released by former India cricketers Sunil Gavaskar, Syed Kirmani, Dilip Vengsarkar, Mohammad Azharuddin, Chandrakant Pandit and Nilesh Kulkarni.
In February, India played its 1,000th ODI against the West Indies in Ahmedabad, becoming the first team to record the feat. India's World Cup triumphs in 1983 and 2011, under Kapil Dev and M. S. Dhoni respectively, remain the major highlights in Indian ODI history. Sportstar reporters and photographers travelled the world to cover the Indian cricket team in the 1980s and 1990s. This is the best tribute to Indian cricket.

NIT Andhra Pradesh Faculty Publishes Book on 'Discrete Mathematics & Applications'

National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh Assistant Professor Dr. Karthick Seshadri authored a book on 'Discrete Mathematics with Applications.' It is a key prerequisite for emerging courses such as Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science, among others.
This textbook was published by Cengage. Prof. C.S.P. Rao, Director, NIT Andhra Pradesh, released the book in presence of the Deans, Heads of various Departments and faculty of NIT Andhra Pradesh. It was co-authored with Dr. K. Viswanathan Iyer, who was a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NIT Trichy.
This book is suitable to be used as a textbook for the Discrete Mathematics course which is typically offered as part of the B.Tech and MCA programmes.

Biography of Late Industrialist Rahul Bajaj

The first authorised biography of the late iconic industrialist and former chairman of Bajaj Group Rahul Bajaj hit the stands in March.
'Rahul Bajaj: An Extraordinary Life', written by noted business historian Gita Piramal, chronicles the transformation of India through the life story of one of the most successful and visionary business legends in the country.
From Bajaj's mother's incarceration during India's struggle for freedom to his own personal life, his journey in becoming one of the most well-regarded business personalities in the world, this book opens a window to the eventful life of the celebrated business leader and former parliamentarian.
The Padma Bhushan recipient died on February 12, 2022 at the age of 83.

A Poem 'Monsoon' Published by Sahitya Akademi

Sahitya Akademi, India's National Academy of Letters published a book-length poem 'Monsoon' by Indian poet-diplomat Abhay K.
Monsoon is a poem of 150 stanzas of 4 lines each that commence its journey in Madagascar and follows the path of the monsoon invoking the rich flora and fauna, languages, cuisine, music, monuments, landscapes, traditions, myths and legends of the places through which monsoon travels and acts as a messenger to carry the poet's message from Madagascar to his beloved in Srinagar in the Himalayas.

A Book Titled 'Modi@20: Dreams Meet Delivery'

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced to release a book on the life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi titled 'Modi@20: Dreams Meet Delivery'. It is set to hit stands in April 2022. The book is a compilation of pieces written by intellectuals & experts and has been edited & compiled by BlueKraft Digital Foundation.
The book captures the political life of PM Modi's past 20 years, ranging from his tenure as Gujarat CM to Prime Minister of India and has been compiled by eminent intellectuals and personalities from industry and politics.
Those who have contributed to the book include Sudha Murty, Sadhguru, Nandan Nilekani, Home Minister Amit Shah, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, late legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar, National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, industrialist Uday Kotak, actor Anupam Kher, badminton star PV Sindhu and former principal secretary to PM Nripendra Mishra.
