India paid tribute to the hundreds of US servicemen killed during World War II with the opening of a museum near its strategic border with China honouring the dramatic Himalayan airlift dubbed 'The Hump'.
Telling the story of how Allied pilots flew the perilous route to supply Chinese forces, it includes 80-year-old rusting wreckage and machine guns of some of the 590 planes that crashed into the jungle hills and jagged mountains of Arunachal Pradesh.
Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu said that it showcased the remnants of aircraft that went missing, as he inaugurated 'The Hump WWII Museum' alongside the US ambassador, Eric Garcetti in the town of Pasighat.

Telangana unveiled the world's first 3D-printed temple, a groundbreaking structure situated in Burugupally, Siddipet district. This innovative construction, achieved through a three-month 3D printing process, marked a significant technological milestone.
The temple spans 4,000 square feet and stands at a height of 35.5 feet. It comprises three distinct parts, each dedicated to a different deity:
Modak for Lord Ganesha: This sanctuary is shaped like a modak, a sweet dish that is traditionally offered to Lord Ganesha.
Square Shivalay for Lord Shankar: This sanctuary is square-shaped and dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Ayodhya Sets Guinness Record by Lighting 22 Lakh Diyas
More than 22 lakh 'diyas' illuminated the banks of the Saryu River in Ayodhya during the seventh edition of the Deepotsav, setting a new world record for lighting a large number of lamps simultaneously at one place.
The 22+ lakh 'diyas' (earthen lanterns), 6.47 lakh more than the previous year, were lit by 25,000 volunteers at the 51 ghats of Ram Ki Paidi along the river. The representatives of the Guinness Book of World Records, using drones to count the lamps, officially recognised Ayodhya's achievement, echoing the city with triumphant chants of 'Jai Shri Ram'.
Upon receiving the certificate from the Guinness Book of World Records, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended warm greetings to the entire Ayodhya and its residents.
