Jalna marks 138th Hatti Risala Dhulivandan procession

Jalna, Maharashtra, celebrated the 138th Hatti Risala procession on Dhulivandan, the day after Holi. The event featured a decorated elephant carrying symbolic imagery of a king and his prime minister. Large crowds lined the streets as revdis, a traditional sweet, were distributed from atop the elephant. Dressed in traditional attire, participants created a vibrant festival atmosphere with rhythmic drums and festive colors. The procession remains a significant expression of local heritage, community participation, and regional customs, drawing residents and visitors to witness a living tradition that blends history with celebration.

78th Zomi National Day Celebrated in Manipur
