PM Modi Inaugurates 'Raising & Accelerating MSME Performance' Scheme

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 'Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance' scheme at Vigyan Bhawan in the national capital.
The scheme has outlay of around Rs. 6,000 crore.
The scheme aims to scale up the implementation capacity and coverage of Medium Small and Micro Enterprises (MSME) in the states, with impact enhancement of existing MSME schemes.

Kerala Govt. to Roll out "MEDISEP" Scheme for State Government

Kerala state government issued orders regarding the implementation of a medical insurance "MEDISEP" scheme for government employees and pensioners and the deduction of premium from the salary of June 2022 and pension of July 2022. MEDISEP scheme is applicable to government employees, pensioners/family pensioners and their eligible family members and employees and pensioners of universities that receive grant in aid from the state government and the local self-government institutions.
The scheme provides cashless medical assistance through an insurance company selected through the competitive bidding process. As per the scheme, the premium on behalf of the employees and pensioners towards MEDISEP shall be paid by the government in advance and will be recouped from the salary of employees and pensioners.
The annual premium of the employees and the pensioners will be Rs 4,800 + 18% GST for the policy period of 2022-24, and the monthly premium of Rs 500 would be deducted from the salary/pension. The scheme is applicable to universities and local self-government institutions as well.

PM Modi Launches Nutrition Scheme for Women in Gujarat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched ''Mukhyamantri Matrushakti Yojna' a nutrition scheme for pregnant and lactating mothers- in Gujarat's Vadodara ahead of the state assembly polls.
The Rs. 800-crore Mukhya Mantri Matrushakti Yojana aims to provide nutritional food to pregnant and lactating women.
The MMY scheme applies to women who are conceiving for the first time and mothers who have given birth to their first child enrolled at AWCs along with pregnant and lactating mothers (up to 2 years) who are enrolled in the Health department software.
Meanwhile, Poshan Sudha Yojana, aiming to meet the nutritional needs of pregnant women, was also expanded to all tribal-dominated areas of Gujarat.

Agnipath Scheme Age Limit: Govt. Increases Upper Age Limit of Agniveers to 23 years

Agnipath Scheme was launched by the Government of India in an effort to bring a change in the recruitment process of the Indian Armed Forces. As Agnipath Scheme faces backlash with protests taking place all over the country, the Government of India has decided to increase the upper age limit of Agniveers to 23 years. Earlier, it was between 17 to 21 years.
The increase in the upper age limit of Agniveers, who will be recruited under Agnipath Scheme, was announced by the Ministry of Defence who said that the one-time waiver in the upper age limit has been granted as no recruitments have taken place in the last two years. As per the experts, the decision to increase the upper age limit of Agniveers has also come at the backdrop of Agnipath-related protests that have been taking place in several parts of the country.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar launched the 'Sujal' initiative for water supply management in Panchkula.
Launching this initiative as a pilot project for Panchkula from "Sant Kabir Kutir", the CM said that this unique initiative of the state government for water supply management will prove to be a benchmark in the field of water conservation.
Sujal is a unique initiative which is environment friendly and due to which we can save resources along with a structured supply of water. You can also make financial savings.
