Book Titled 'His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama: An Illustrated Biography' Authored by Tenzin...

A book titled 'His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama: An Illustrated Biography' authored by one of the Dalai Lama's closest aides and advisor of over 40 year, Tenzin Geyche Tethong. The biography is a memorable portrait of the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso. The book is to be released in October 2020 and is published by Roli Books.
The book's foreword was written by Tendzin Choegyal.
The book comprises nearly 400 unseen photographs and unpublished documents, archival material and also memories of those close to him so as to portray a composite picture of his exile, his sympathetic mannerism and the present troubled relationship with his homeland, Tibet.
The book gives a glance of an important part of the history before he was forced to flee to India in March 1959.

"Getting Competitive: A Practitioner's Guide for India" authored by R. C. Bhargava

R. C. Bhargava, the Chairman of Maruti Suzuki authored the book "Getting Competitive: A Practitioner's Guide for India" from his experience of around 60 years as a policymaker and a leading industrialist. The book published by HarperCollins India, provides practical suggestions to make India a competitive industrialised country.
The book speaks about the necessities of building trust with the political system, governments, judiciary and industrial leaders.
The author suggests that the policies related to the socialistic industry should be replaced with the policies that promote competitive manufacturing and the westernmanagement culture should be replaced by the Eastern culture to build trust with the citizens and partnered industrialists and the government.
The book focuses on bringing out the national acceptance that manufacturing competitiveness as the first priority.
R. C. Bhargawa was the joint secretary in the Ministry of Energy, Government of India from 1974 to 77 and served as the joint secretary, Cabinet Secretariat from 1977 to 1978.

M. Venkaiah Naidu Releases the Book "Future of Higher Education - Nine Mega Trends"

Vice President of India, M. Venkaiah Naidu virtually released a book, "Future of Higher Education – Nine Mega Trends". The book is authored by CA V Pattabhi Ram, a Public Speaker, author and teacher. The Virtual event was hosted by ICT Academy.
The book covers the new norms in the key areas of higher education such as Student-Teacher relationship, Learning methods, Laboratories & Examinations among others which has taken a paradigm shift during this COVID pandemic.
The book is based on a survey of about 5000 educators across India who were part of ICT Academy's "SkyCampus" Digital Knowledge Series.

The Debut Novel of Megha Majumdar - "The Burning"

The Penguin Hamish Hamilton released the "The Burning", debut novel of Megha Majumdar. The 32-year-old New York's writer who was born and raised in Kolkata.
The book is about the lives of three characters, Tommy Orange, Yaa Gyasi and Jhumpa Lahiri who want to rise to the middle class, to political power, to gain fame in the film industry and how their lives changed in Indian society.
Megha Majumdar moved to the United States and studied at Harvard University where she was a Truab Scholar.
She did social anthropology at John Hopkins University.

'The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir', a Book by John Bolton

Donald Trump once again took to social media to lash out at his former national security adviser John Bolton over the latter's controversial book, which is soon to hit shelves, containing damaging allegations against the US President.
The book, titled "The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir", sparked furore even before being published, as US media released excerpts where Trump is depicted as easily manipulated by foreign leaders. Trump has previously strongly condemned the book and the former adviser, whom he called a "disgruntled boring fool".
According to Donald Trump, Bolton's book, which is getting terrible reviews, is a compilation of lies and made up stories, all intended to make me look bad.
