The amazing feat by Saanvi M. Prajit, daughter of Wing Commander of Indian Air Force Prajit Babu and Manjma hailing from Ernakulam, was recognised by the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records.
Her records have been established for the maximum number of dishes prepared by a child.
The Asia Book of Records authorities watched online the cookery event organised at her Visakhapatnam residence.
Besides, two gazetted officers were witness to the cooking of 33 items in an hour by Saanvi.
PM Modi to Release Commemorative Coin in Honour of Vijaya Raje Scindia
Prime Minister Narendra Modi released a commemorative coin of 100 rupees in honour of Vijaya Raje Scindia through a virtual ceremony.
One of the founder members of BJP, Vijaya Raje Scindia is popularly known as the Rajmata of Gwalior. The coin was released in celebration of birth centenary of Vijaya Raje Scindia.
The special commemorative coin was minted by the Finance Ministry as a part of these celebrations.
Vijaya Raje Scindia was elected to Lok Sabha 7 times and twice to the Rajya Sabha.

Novelist Dr. Bhyrappa Honoured with Dr. Shivaram Karanth Award
Minister for Muzrai and Fisheries Kota Srinivas Poojary conferred the prestigious 'Kota Shivaram Karanth Huttoora' award on city's Novelist Dr. S. L. Bhyrappa at an event held at Pramati Hillview Academy. He was also presented with a miniature bust of Dr. Karanth.
The award is given by Kota Dr. Shivaram Karanth Huttoora Prashasthi Prathisthana, in association with Kotathattu Gram Panchayat of Udupi district, the birth place of Dr. Shivaram Karanth, to achievers who have excelled in any of Dr. Karanth's field of interest for over 15 years.

American Poet Louise Gluck Wins Nobel for Literature
American poet Louise Gluck won the 2020 Nobel Prize in Literature for her unmistakable poetic voice that with austere beauty makes individual existence universal.
A professor at Yale University, Gluck made her debut in 1968 with "Firstborn", and is seen as one of the most prominent poets in American contemporary literature.

The Nobel Prize for Peace 2020 was awarded to the World Food Programme. The WFP was honoured with the prize for its role towards contributing better conditions for peace in conflict affected areas. It has been a driving force in preventing hunger in war zones.
The United Nations World Food Programme is the largest humanitarian organization addressing hunger and promoting food security. The programme provides food to 91.4 million people spread in 83 countries every year. It is a member of the UNDG (United Nations Development Group).
The programme was established in 1963 at the Food and Agriculture Organisation held in 1960. It aims to provide food aid in emergency situations and also build resilience for food security.

Nobel Prize for Literature 2020
The Nobel Prize, 2020 was awarded to Louise Gluck for her poetry. She is the first female poet to win the prize since Wislawa Szymborska in 1996.
Though Olga Tokarczuk and several other women have received the prize in literature category they were all writers and not a poet. Thus, Louis Gluck is the second female poet to win the award. Olga received the prize in 2018.
She is an American pet. She has won the major literary awards of US such as National Book Award, Pulitzer Prize, National Humanities Medal, Bolligen Prize and National Book Critics Circle Award.
The Nobel Prize in Literature has been awarded 112 times between 1901 and 2019. Of these, only 14 were women. In 2018, the award was postponed due to rape allegations.

Three IAF Officers Honoured with Gallantry Award
Three Indian Air Force officers, who took part in the Balakot operation last year (2019), received gallantry medals on the occasion of 88th Air Force Day.
The officers who received the Yudh Seva Medal are Squadron Leader Minty Agarwal, Group Captain Hansel Sequera and Group Captain Hemant Kumar Vadsra.
Yudh Seva Medal recognises distinguished service of a high order during war, conflict or hostilities.
Squadron Leader Minty Agarwal is a Fighter Controller with the Indian Air Force. She was part of the team that guided Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman during the 2019 Balakot airstrike carried out by the IAF.
To avenge the Pulwama terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, India carried out an aerial strike at terror training camps in Balakot in Pakistan on February 26 last year 2019.
