Actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his residence in Mumbai's Bandra. The actor was found dead at his sixth floor apartment in Bandra (West). While the police have confirmed that he has died by suicide, no 'note' was found from his residence. "Sushant Singh Rajput has committed suicide, Mumbai Police is investigating," DCP Pranay Ashok, spokesperson Mumbai Police said.
The actor was known for his performances in films such as Chhichhore, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!. He started his career on television and is still remembered for his performance in Pavitra Rishta.
UTI Mutual Funds Appoint Imtaiyazur Rahman as CEO
UTI Asset Management Board appointed Imtaiyazur Rahman as Chief Executive Officer (CEO ) of the UTI Asset Management Committee (AMC) after two years as the interim CEO. He succeeded Leo Puri whose 5-year tenure was over in August 2018.
He joined the UTI group in 1998 and it with the UTI AMC since 2003.
Rahaman was also involved in the transformation of the company formerly known as Unit Trust of India with then chairmen M Damodaran and SK Sinha and succeeded UK Sinha as Interim CEO from 2012-13
He was the CFO(Cheif Financial officer) and headed many different functions in the company including international business.
He was appointed as the interim CEO since 2018 after the retirement of Leo Puri.
India's oldest first-class cricketer Vasant Raiji, a right-handed batsman passed away at 100 due to old-age at his residence in Walkeshwar in South Mumbai. He was born on January 26, 1920 in Vadodara(Baroda), Gujarat.
Vasant Raiji is a former opening batsman who represented Bombay, Baroda, and Cricket Club of India (CCI) in first-class cricket between 1941 and 1950.
Vasant Raiji made his first-class debut in 1939 for the CCI team that played against the Central Provinces and Berar in Nagpur.
He played 9 first-class matches in the 1940s, scoring 277 runs, where 68 is his highest score(in Baroda's victory over Maharashtra in 1944-45) which includes his opening batting for Bombay and Baroda in the Ranji Trophy.
By profession he is a chartered accountant
After his cricket career he became an author who wrote books about former Indian cricketers like Victor Trumper, CK Nayudu, LP Jai. His book gives a rare literature of cricketing history.
He is a one of the founding members of the Jolly Cricket Club.

Former Planning Commission Member Dr. Vaidyanathan Passes Away
Dr. A. Vaidyanathan, a former member of the Government of India's Planning Commission, passed away in Coimbatore.
During his lifetime, Dr. Vaidyanathan also served as professor at the Madras Institute of Development Studies and Centre for Development Studies in Trivandrum.
Dr. Vaidyanathan chaired the Government of India Task Force on Revival of Cooperative Credit Institutions in 2004 and was a member of the K.N. Raj Committee on Taxation of Agricultural Income (1969-70).
From 1962 to 1972, Dr Vaidyanathan served as a member of the perspective planning division of the Planning Commission and worked closely with Pitambar Pant, during which period he had a stint at the Food and Agricultural Organisation in Rome.
After a term at the World Bank (1972-76), he returned home to join Professor K.N. Raj as a member of the faculty of Centre for Development Studies, Thiruvananthapuram. Dr Vaidyanathan was closely associated with state level planning in Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

Wani Appointed Judge of Jammu and Kashmir High Court
The central government appointed former additional advocate general Javed Iqbal Wani as a judge of Jammu and Kashmir High Court.
Advocate Wani is the estranged son-in-law of senior advocate Mian Abdul Qayoom, the president of J&K High Court Bar Association who is in preventive detention under the Public Safety Act.
Wani's appointment was recommended in January 2020 by the Supreme Court Collegium headed by Chief Justice of India S. A. Bobde. With his appointment, the strength of Jammu and Kashmir High Court increased to 13 against the total strength of 17.
Former Union Water Resources Minister Arjun Charan Sethi Passes Away
Former Union Water Resources Minister (2000 to 2004) Arjun Charan Sethi passed away at the age of 79. He is an 8-time member of parliament (MP) from Bhadrak Lok Sabha constituency.
Arjun Charan Sethi was elected to the 5th Lok Sabha from Bhadrak constituency in Odisha as an Indian National Congress (INC) candidate and was re-elected to the Lok Sabha in 1980 from the same constituency as an INC candidate.
He was re-elected to the Lok Sabha in 1991 as a Janata Dal candidate from the same constituency and re-elected to the Lok Sabha in 1998, 1999, 2004 and 2009 from the same constituency as a Biju Janata Dal (BJD) candidate.
He joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) before the 2019 Lok Sabha along with his son Abhimanyu Sethi, but did not contest elections.
