US and Indian Navies Complete Week-long Anti-submarine Warfare Training in the Indian Ocean
The navies of India and the United States completed a week-long joint exercise focused on improving the interoperability in maritime patrol and anti-submarine warfare. The 'Tridents' of the patrol squadron VP-26 based out of Florida, the United States, along with the 'Albatross' of the Indian Naval Air Squadron 312 took part in combined anti-submarine warfare. A VP-26 P-8A Poseidon aircraft of the 'Tridents' and a P-8I Poseidon aircraft of the Indian Naval Air Squadron participated in the week-long programme.
Indian Air Force to Carry out Ex Trishul along China and Pakistan
The Indian Air Force is going to carry out a major training exercise codenamed Trishul in the northern sector along the borders with both China and Pakistan.
All major fleets of fighter aircraft including the Rafale, Mirage 2000 and the Su-30MKIs will be participating in the drills along with heavy-lift transport aircraft and choppers including the Chinooks and Apache.
The Garud Special Forces are also part of the drills where all elements of air power are likely to be exercised in the exercise to be held from September 4 to 14 in the northern sector including Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab.

Israel Begins Test Flights of 'Cutting-edge' Spy Aircraft
Israel's military started test-flying Oron, a Gulfstream G550-based reconnaissance aircraft equipped with intelligence systems.
As per the Defence Ministry, after integrating the intelligence systems into "the cutting-edge" Oron aircraft, the military has started test flights.
The aircraft will provide the Israeli military with "unprecedented intelligence capabilities across expansive terrain, enabling real-time monitoring of ground movements under diverse weather and visibility conditions.
Oron was delivered in 2021 by US-based Gulfstream Aerospace to the Israeli Air Force as a special-missions G550 variant for surveillance operations.
