First Astronaut with Disability Cleared for ISS Mission

The first-ever astronaut with a physical disability was cleared for a mission onboard the International Space Station, the European Space Agency.
John McFall, a British surgeon and former Paralympian who lost a leg in a motorbike accident said that he was "hugely proud" of clearing the hurdle.

India and Nepal Strengthen Scientific Ties with New Agreement

India and Nepal took a major step toward advancing their scientific collaboration with the signing of a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), India, and the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST). The agreement, signed at CSIR-National Physical Laboratory in New Delhi, aims to deepen research and technological cooperation between the two nations. This MoU builds on a long-standing partnership and focuses on various domains, including biotechnology, environmental sciences, alternative energy, and material sciences.
The agreement covers a broad range of scientific and technological areas:

India Develops World's Largest Propellant Mixer for Solid Rocket Motors

India's Space Research Organisation (ISRO) developed a 10-tonne propellant mixer for solid motors. This mixer was created at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SHAR), ISRO, located in Sriharikota, in collaboration with the Central Manufacturing Technology Institute (CMTI) in Bengaluru, a leading research and development organisation under the Ministry of Heavy Industries.
