Long-delayed ISRO-NASA Mission NISAR May Finally Be Launched in June

Announced on World Quantum Day, the system features 25 superconducting qubits and represents the country's first full-stack quantum computing platform.
  • Named QpiAI-Indus, the system combines advanced quantum hardware, scalable control and optimised software to enable hybrid computing. It integrates next-generation quantum processors, AI-driven solutions and a Quantum-HPC software platform to support a range of applications.

Japan Builds World's First 3D-Printed Train Station in Record Time

  • West Japan Railway Company (JR West) constructed the world's first 3D-printed train station, assembling it in under six hours in Arida City, Wakayama Prefecture. Named Hatsushima Station, the new structure replaces an aging wooden facility dating back to 1948 and demonstrates the potential of 3D printing to revolutionize public infrastructure. Built using prefabricated components produced by Serendix, a Japanese construction technology firm, this project not only cut construction time from months to hours but also promises cost-effectiveness, labour reduction, and minimal service disruption.
