SAT is a paper-based standardized test for securing admission in colleges and universities in the US and some other countries.
There is no particular eligibility for SAT. Though one can take the test anytime irrespective of the grade / class and age (to get a feel of the test), it is recommended you take the test in the months of October or November, when you are in Class XI.
