Let us make your weekend Entertainingly Educative. The words Lobby, Lobbying, Lobbyist and various other forms of this word (if any) have occurred in GRE quite often.
This weekend, I recommend a movie, based on lobbying. The movie is called "Thank You for Smoking"
It is a very humorous take on a serious issue of Smoking. It deals with "How the tobacco industry survives, in spite of public resentment." It also deals with the justification that the industry gives, for its existence.
It is nothing but a fortuitous discovery that I came across this article. I personally do not read much from CABINET, but I do not know how I reached there today and came across this gem.
GRE Vocab is ubiquitous in this whole piece and there are some words which are of the very High Frequency nature. Yes I mean to say words like cumbersome, assiduously, innocuous, candor, imperceptible and so on. Surprisingly, this piece has got atleast 50+ GRE Words.
I am sure that you will enjoy reading this and definitely do not forget to pick the GRE Vocab. List out all the GRE Words, that you encounter and post them in the comments.
I happened to stumble upon a debate on The New York Times, and it was about the importance of the texture of voice in a Digital Assistant. Several Distinguished people have given their opinions, which are quite interesting and their opinions are short. I am sure that you will enjoy reading this and definitely do not forget to pick the GRE Vocab. List out all the GRE Words, that you encounter and post them in the comments.
