Mahindra Aerostructures wins Airbus contract to manufacture fuselage skins for A320 family

Mahindra Aerostructures Pvt. Ltd. (MASPL) won a contract from Airbus in August 2026 to manufacture and supply fuselage skins for the A320 aircraft family. MASPL will produce components for Sections 18 and 19, parts of the rear fuselage and tail assembly of the A320neo and A321XLR. Manufacturing will take place at MASPL’s Bengaluru facility, with deliveries to Airbus’ Augsburg plant in Germany. The deal marks a major milestone for India’s aerospace manufacturing sector, expanding private participation in global supply chains. The collaboration is expected to boost local jobs, upgrade the workforce, and strengthen India’s position in the regional aerospace ecosystem.
