Digital India RISC-V Symposium 2026 to be held at IIT Madras Research Park
IIT Madras will host the Digital India RISC-V Symposium 2026 on 1–2 August 2026 at the IIT Madras Research Park in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The event is organized with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and RISC-V International. DeepDATA app launched to document India’s deep-sea fish
On 23 July 2026, the ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute launched DeepDATA, a mobile application to document deep-sea fish species and collect field observations. The app provides scientifically verified information and allows users to upload data, building a national digital repository. Developed by CMFRI’s IT unit in Kochi, DeepDATA aims to standardize data collection across deep-sea habitats and support biodiversity research and policy planning. China launches Gravity-1 from sea, nine satellites deployed
On 22 July 2026, China’s private space firm Orienspace conducted the Gravity-1 Y4 mission from a mobile platform in the East China Sea, off Shanghai. Paras Semiconductors to build greenfield OSAT facility in Madhya Pradesh

India approved its first utility-scale 100 MWh Vanadium Redox Flow Battery Energy Storage System for deployment at Khavda Solar Park in Gujarat.
