75th edition of Fit India Sundays on Cycle to mark Commonwealth Games Day nationwide
India's Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports will organise the 75th edition of Fit India Sundays on Cycle to celebrate Commonwealth Games Day nationwide. Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya will lead the celebrations from Ahmedabad on 24 May. The initiative aims to deepen public engagement with cycling, fitness, and health while linking to India’s hosting of the 2030 Commonwealth Games. The cycling drive will span more than 8,000 locations across the country and include a Commonwealth Games-themed exhibition in Ahmedabad. Officials emphasize sport as a nationwide movement and a step toward long-term Olympic ambitions.

Yuva Sangam Phase-6 inaugurated at IIT Tirupati; 10-day cultural exchange
The Union Ministry of Education inaugurated the Yuva Sangam Phase-6 under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat at the Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati, Yerpedu. The 10-day programme, continuing until 27 May 2026, brings together students from diverse regions to explore India’s cultural diversity and heritage. IIT Tirupati Director K. N.
