CAQM Bans Entry of Non-Delhi Registered Non-BS VI Commercial Goods Vehicles in NCR
Commission for Air Quality Management, CAQM has imposed a ban on the entry of non-Delhi-registered commercial goods vehicles that are not BS-VI compliant in Delhi NCR from November 2025. In a social media post today, CAQM informed that this ban applies to Light Goods, Medium Goods, and Heavy Goods Vehicles.
It further informed that all Delhi-registered commercial goods vehicles, including BS-VI compliant diesel or petrol vehicles, CNG or LNG commercial goods vehicles and Electric commercial goods vehicles, are permitted to enter Delhi. The Commission also said that as a transitional measure, all BS IV vehicles can also enter Delhi till 31st October of next year.
Climate Action Tracker Launched to Achieve Net Zero Across State
Minister for Finance, Environment and Climate Change Thangam Thennarasu launched the 'Climate Action Tracker for Tamil Nadu' and 'Climate Decarbonisation Pathways' for some districts, including Ramanathapuram, Virudhunagar, Coimbatore, and Nilgiris.
A complete analysis of each of these districts has been carried out with the support of Vasudha Foundation and government agencies.
