Madhya Pradesh Launches its Own Helicopter Tourism Service

  • Madhya Pradesh became the first state in India to launch its own helicopter tourism service, marking a milestone in regional connectivity and tourism infrastructure. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated the 'PM Shri Tourism Helicopter Service' at Bhopal's Raja Bhoj International Airport.
  • Officials described the initiative as the first of its kind by any state government, aimed at linking key tourist and religious destinations while improving travel convenience.

Ministry of Tourism Participates in World Travel Market, London

  • The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, participated at World Travel Market (WTM) London, held from November 4 to 6 at Excel London. Ministry participated at WTM with a delegation of almost 30 stakeholders including State Governments/UT Administrations, inbound tour operators from the Indian travel industry along with IRCTC to showcase India's vibrant cultural diversity and the range of tourism products and immersive experiences.
  • The India pavilion was inaugurated by Deputy High Commission of India to the United Kingdom along with Joint Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India in the presence of Diya Kumari, Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan and Tourism Ministers from the States of Goa, Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh.
