Abu Dhabi to Host 68th TAAI Convention in 2025
Abu Dhabi will host the 68th Annual Convention & Exhibition of the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) from September 17 to 19, 2025. The event will unite India's leading travel agents, tour operators, airlines, and hospitality leaders under the theme "Business with Goodness." Hosted by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), the convention will explore tourism growth, collaboration, and sustainable partnerships. It will also showcase the emirate's cultural icons, luxury experiences, and business opportunities to one of its most important visitor markets.

FAITH Conclave to Steer Unified Tourism Policy
The Federation of Associations in Indian Tourism & Hospitality (FAITH) announced the FAITH Conclave 2025, India's most authoritative tourism policy gathering, scheduled for August 12 and 13, 2025 in New Delhi under the theme 'Indian Tourism: Invincible Spirit!'.
This landmark event unites the highest echelons of government, industry and civil society to chart the course toward Tourism@2047—a bold vision of a $3 trillion tourism economy, 100 million foreign arrivals, 20 billion domestic visits and the creation of 200 million jobs across India. FAITH has championed policies and initiatives such as E-Visa, GST strategy, Adopt-a-Heritage, PPP frameworks, film tourism, adventure tourism, cruise tourism and more—many of which were unveiled at the G20 Summit.

India Becomes World's 5th Biggest Aviation Market
India officially emerged as the world's fifth largest aviation market, handling 241 million passengers in 2024, according to the latest World Air Transport Statistics (WATS) released by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Among the busiest flight routes, Mumbai-Delhi ranked 7th globally, marking India's growing dominance in global air travel.
India recorded 241 million air passengers in 2024, a 11.1% increase from 2023, when the figure stood at 211 million.
Global Ranking: United States – 876 million passengers (5.2% growth), China – 741 million passengers (18.7% growth), United Kingdom – 261 million passengers, Spain – 241 million passengers and India – 241 million passengers, respectively.
