For the first time, Indo-Tibetan Border Police entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh governments for giving employment and livelihood opportunities to locals living along the India-China border. The plan conceived under the vibrant village programme (VVP) has so far covered 51 vibrant villages and 108 border villages for supplying vegetarian and non-vegetarian items worth Rs. 1 crore.

The discussions were co-chaired by Air Vice-Marshal Suraya Marshall CBE from the RAF and Air Vice-Marshal Prajual Singh VM from the IAF. This meeting underscored the commitment of both air forces to not only maintain but also expand their mutual engagements in various military domains.
