The 38th Surajkund International Crafts Mela is being held from February 7 to 23. The Surajkund Mela will see a spectacular showcase of regional and international crafts, handlooms, and traditions along with some mouth-watering multi-cuisine food for the visitors. The mela, which attracts more than a million Indian and international visitors, is organised by the Surajkund Mela Authority and Haryana Tourism in collaboration with union ministries of tourism, textiles, culture and external affairs.
Theme states of 'Surajkund Mela' in 2025 are Odisha and Madhya Pradesh and BIMSTEC (Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation) countries- Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Thailand- are the partners.

Nagoba Jatara- A Tribal Festival in Keslapur
The village of Keslapur in Telangana came alive with vibrant energy as thousands of tribals and non-tribals from across India gathered and celebrated the annual Nagoba Jatara. This festival, dedicated to the Nagoba temple, is one of the most significant religious and cultural events for the Mesram clan and other aboriginal tribes. Karnataka, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Odisha participated in the festival.

Britain's Ex PM Rishi Sunak Arrives In Jaipur, To Attend Literature Festival
Former UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak attended the city's annual literary event, the Jaipur Literature Festival, which concluded on February 3.
During the five-day event, Mr. Sunak's wife Akshata Murty, and her mother, Sudha Murty, who is a renowned author and Rajya Sabha MP, held a session titled "My Mother, Myself".
The 18th edition of the renowned literature festival was held at Hotel Clarks Amer in the Pink City. The event brought together leading voices from literature, politics, science and the arts, and serves as a forum for diverse perspectives and meaningful exchange.
This year's (2025) event featured over 300 luminaries such as Nobel laureates, Booker Prize-winners, journalists, policymakers, and acclaimed writers.
The participants included Abhijit Banerjee, Esther Dufflo, Amol Palekar, Amitabh Kant, Eric Garcetti, Kailash Satyarthi, Javed Akhtar, Rahul Bose, Yuvan Aves, Shahu Patole and Kallol Bhattacharjee.

Sci-Fi Science Film Festival in Panaji
The Goa Chief Minister, Pramod Sawant, inaugurated the Sci-Fi Science Film Festival of India in Panaji concluded on. The festival, organised by Vidnyan Parishad Goa, celebrated science, innovation, and the spirit of curiosity, and was held in honour of Dr. M. Swaminathan, a prominent scientist. The festival's theme this year (2025), "Green Revolution," aimed to inspire young minds and promote the path to a sustainable future.

National Archives of India Hosts Special Exhibition on Mahatma Gandhi
On the occasion of Martyrs' Day, the National Archives of India (NAI), in collaboration with the National Gandhi Museum, the National Film Archives of India- NFDC and Prasar Bharati Archives, successfully hosted a special exhibition titled "Journey of the Mahatma: Through His Own Documents."
The exhibition was inaugurated by Arun Singhal, Director General, National Archives of India.
