Uttarakhand CM Inaugurates Jauljibi Mela 2024 in Pithoragarh
Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the Jauljibi Mela 2024 in Pithoragarh, calling it an "invaluable heritage" of the state. The mela, historically significant for promoting harmony between India, Tibet, Nepal, and neighboring regions, plays a vital role in strengthening both economic and cultural ties. During the event, Dhami also launched 18 development projects worth ₹64.47 crores, with significant investments in rural and agricultural sectors. The CM emphasized that the event provides a platform for small traders, farmers, and artisans, fostering economic growth, especially in border areas.

Yogi Adityanath Marks Mahakumbh-2025 with Logo Reveal
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath unveiled the new multi-coloured logo for Mahakumbh 2025 at an event. Kumbh Mela, recognised by the UNESCO as an 'Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity,' is regarded as the world's largest peaceful gathering of pilgrims.
Design Elements are: (i) features a temple, a seer, an urn, the Akshayvat tree, and Lord Hanuman, (ii) embodies the confluence of nature and humanity in the Sanatan civilisation.
